Sardar was prompt and friendly on the first appointment to look at my situation to change out a solar tube skylight. Prompt and communicative on the install. He’s very knowledgeable and skilled. The new roof looks fantastic! I was amazed of how well the tear off crew and the roofers cleaned up after themselves. Looks cleaner than before they started. Next, he painted the new wood that replaced the old pieces under the eaves. The paint matches perfectly. Excellent communication throughout the whole process. I Live in LEISURE WORLD, and I’ve had several bad experiences with HANDYMEN, SKYLIGHT REPAIRMEN,, HOUSECLEANERS, etc. That’s why I was so GRATEFUL when I found SoCal Home Upgrades to replace a skylight that was damaged by severe Santa Ana winds. He was fantastic! Not only did he do an excellent job installing my new solar powered SKYLIGHTS, but he took the time to explain how to use my remote controls and the app on my phone to adjust the automated skylights. We try whenever possible to support small local businesses, and we are so glad we went with this company for our skylight replacement. It was easy going throughout the whole process. He talked through the whole replacement process and options with us so that we made an informed decision and he did top quality work with a quality product. He even ran out during the job to get a piece that he noticed needed replacement/repair after removing the original skylight at no extra cost simply because he knew it was the right thing to do and would ensure there were no issues with our new skylight. Great experience all around and we absolutely love our new skylight with some new and great features.

We had an issue with our skylight remote that rendered the skylight nonfunctional. The only way to repair it was by physically pressing a button located 16 feet up—definitely not an easy fix. I reached out to Socal Home yesterday, explained the situation to Sardar, and he quickly provided a fair quote compared to other companies. He arrived promptly the next day and had the skylight fixed in under an hour, a task made even more challenging by the need for such a tall ladder. SoCal did a great job replacing a skylight that was damaged during the recent windstorms in my area. They were extremely responsive on the phone and were able to come out right away to assess the damage and order and install the correct skylight. Since there was a rainstorm about to arrive, they also waterproofed the existing damaged skylight until they came back the next week for the replacement service . They are extremely professional in every aspect of their service. I would recommend them without hesitation.

Sardar is by far one of the best contractors we’ve ever dealt with! He is super friendly and knowledgable and his communication was top notch from beginning to end. We recently had our roof redone and replaced three old skylights. Unfortunately, we ended up with cheap acrylic dome style lenses that were really hot and allowed a lot of outside noise into the house (I didn’t even know my neighbor had wind chimes until now!). Sardar talked us through all the different options and provided us with a couple of estimates to help us decide between them. We ended up getting three dual pane laminated low E glass lenses, one frosted and two with solar shades. Installation was quick and hassle free. We couldn’t be happier with our new skylights; the house is drastically cooler and we don’t hear outside noise anymore!!!
