Just recently I had a skylight installed by SKYLIGHT PROS BY BLUE BELL. The manager Joe was on site and supervised the installation... which was a complete success. He listened while I explained exactly where to place the skylight. While preparing the roof opening his crew was confronted with an unusual beam structure. He and the team went into a huddle and came up with a solution to circumvent the obstacle. A short second day visit was required to cut and fit the interior sheet rock with an initial coat of plaster. I can finish it off with a coat of paint when I get around to it. So I recommend this contractor for skylight installation. I am very much pleased with the work they did for me.

I highly recommend Velux's manual skylight installed by "Skylight Pros by Blue Bell" of Bala Cynwyd, PA. We recently had one installed in our interior Philadelphia rowhome & it has made a significant difference in the appearance, 'livability' and safety of our residence. Being an interior rowhome, our front door was the only point of egress for emergencies as our backyard has been blocked in by adjoining properties. Skylight Pros by Blue Bell installed four new Solar Powered Velux skilights in our family room. They have also replaced that portion of the roof with beautiful new shingles. In 2020 I put two Velux skylights in a newly acquired rental property. The first floor in this center-of-the-row house was very deep and felt like a bowling alley. It needed light in the middle. Fortunately the second floor only extended half way giving us the space to install skylights on the first floor. Again, these were not replacements, they were newly installed meaning that holes had to be cut in the roof and skylight shafts had to be constructed. Finally, a new roof had to be installed. I solicited two proposals, both with reputable companies. The proposals were similar in price. I went with Skylight Pros by Blue Bell because they are a skylight company that also does roofs rather than a roofing company that also does skylights. Joe Bailey was a pleasure to work with. In particular, he went to great lengths to protect the interior of the house while he was working on the skylight shafts. Similarly, his cleanup at the conclusion of the job was very thorough. Finally, his craftsmanship was excellent. Based on my good experience with Joe (and his wife Rita who runs the office), I asked him to put replacement skylights and a new flat roof on my residence in 2021. I did not even solicit a second proposal because I wanted Skylight Pros by Blue Bell to do the work on my residence. I received a very fair price. I replaced flat glass skylights with commercial acrylic pyramidal skylights.
