Mauricio and the Skylight Roofing crew did an outstanding job on my roof. Such a professiional group of guys from the initial inspection to clean up. Only stress i felt was picking the best color shingle, which there a lot of samples.to choose from. I love the Black Sable!

trustable

Carlos Cuello was very friendly and professional. He explained the whole process in detail and gave us a free estimate with all the costs upfront.

Carlos Cuello and his crew recently replaced our roof and gutters. Because of Carlos' excellent service and clear communications, we referred Skylight's services to our neighbors. Those neighbors then went into contract with Carlos. Thank you Carlos for courteously addressing our questions and concerns. We like your team's efforts and the products they delivered.

Sky Light Roofing and Restoration Co. installed new roof tiles on my house. The old roofing materials were removed, taken away and disposed. The new materials were installed in one day. All work was professionally done and the new roof looks great.

Carlos gave us a lengthy presentation prior to our roof replacement and installation of gutters and downspouts. He informed us of the schedule and kept to our installation date. His employees are all very polite, protected our property and cleaned up after the installation. I highly recommend Skylight Roofing Co and Carlos!!

Orlando from Skylight and his team did a splendid job. Very professional and effecient. I recommend Skylight as one of the best in the industry for a thorough job.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We had a terrific experience with Skylight Roofing & Restoration from start to finish replacing our 22-year-old roof. Mauricio arrived on time for the initial inspection and spent a lot of time walking us through the entire process, explaining the different products and options, and showing us samples. We never felt rushed or pressured. The installation crew was extremely professional and took great care to protect our property, deck, landscaping, trees, and shrubs. The work took two days, and they planned it carefully so no section of the roof was ever left open or unfinished overnight. The cleanup was equally impressive, especially the attention to making sure no nails or debris were left behind. We reviewed proposals and met with five different roofing companies before making our decision, and I’m so glad we chose Mauricio and Skylight. It was absolutely the right choice. If you have roofing, skylight, or gutter needs in New Jersey, I highly recommend Skylight Roofing & Restoration. Thanks to Mauricio and the entire team for a great job!!

This company addressed the leaking issues with my skylights in rapid time. While waiting for a special order Mauricio wrapped my skylights to prevent further leaking and damage until the skylights could be replaced. The work was completed and exceeded my expectations!

We needed a quick replacement. The team came on a Saturday and completed the install of three skylights professionally!

Carlos Cuello represents Skylight with a great deal of skill, knowledge and sincerity. He is very professional and takes his time to patiently explain each phase of the process of roof and gutter replacement. Carlos is trustworthy and knowledgeable.

Outstanding company from top to bottom! From the initial estimate through the completion of the job, everything was handled professionally and with great attention to detail. They use superior Owens Corning products, and their shingles are truly state-of-the-art. The workmanship was excellent, and the crew were true craftsman. They were hardworking, professional, and took pride in the quality of their work. I am extremely pleased with the finished roof and would highly recommend this company to anyone looking for quality roofing work, superior materials, and a professional team.

Great price & great work. The job was explained to me from beginning to end. They arrived on time and left when they were completely done with the cleanup. I’m glad I chose Skylight Roofing over the mini companies I interviewed and will be recommending them to friends and family

I had a wonderful experience with Skylight Roofing & Restoration. They did an excellent job replacing two skylights in my home. The owner was very responsive throughout the estimating and scheduling process and was professional and reliable. He arrived with copies of the company’s license and insurance and took the time to explain the work in detail. The workers did a great job with the installation and cleanup, leaving everything neat and tidy. I highly recommend Skylight Roofing & Restoration for their professionalism, quality of work, and excellent customer service.

Meticulous roofers. Clean, fast and very pleasant to deal with

We could not be happier with our experience! From the complete roof replacement and skylight replacement to the installation of larger, upgraded gutters, everything was handled with an exceptional level of professionalism and attention to detail. Mauricio was absolutely outstanding—professional, responsive, knowledgeable, and unbelievably easy to work with. He made the entire process seamless and was always available to answer questions and keep everything moving. His team was such a happy group and I believe it all stems from great leadership. The quality of the work exceeded our expectations, and the team delivered exactly what they promised. Highly, highly recommend Mauricio and the entire team. Excellent company and an outstanding experience from start to finish!

Carlos and his crew were just great. These men literally worked so hard all day and probably for about 12 hours to get my mother’s roof done in one day. Since it got dark, they came back the next day, which was a Saturday, to continue cleaning up. I had such confidence from the very first conversation with Carlos and his communication throughout the entire process, including with Homeowners association, was just excellent. He’s so knowledgeable. He explained every aspect of what would go into removing the old roof and putting on the new roof, which is done in layers for maximum protection. I never thought a roof could be as attractive as this one is and enhance the look of the house. he helped guide us through the selection process. I would recommend Carlos and his team to anyone and I would use him myself without a second thought.

Excellent job and work ethic. Cleaned up everything after. Looks great. Carlos was wonderful to work with. Highly recommend this company.

I recently had my entire roof and gutters replaced, along with two bay windows fully restored, by Skylight Roofing & Restoration — and the experience was exceptional from start to finish. I want to extend special appreciation to the project manager, Mr. Carlos Cuello, whose professionalism and work ethic truly set the tone for the entire project. Carlos coordinated seamlessly with his roofing lead, Esteban, and his exterior specialist, Alex, who handled the window restoration. Their teamwork was outstanding. From the initial preparation to the final walkthrough, Carlos managed every detail with precision. He was transparent throughout the process, patiently answering all my questions, offering thoughtful recommendations, and steering me away from unnecessary work. His updates were timely and clear, often accompanied by drone photos that showed exactly what was happening on the roof at each stage. What impressed me most was Carlos’s confidence in his team and the integrity behind their process. He did not request any advance payment — not a dollar — until every part of the job was completed to my full satisfaction. Only after the work was finished did I submit payment, and immediately afterward I received the Owens Corning Platinum Preferred Warranty, the highest tier available for both materials and workmanship. Skylight Roofing & Restoration is competitively priced and provides clear upgrade options without pressure. Carlos will not cut corners, and his manager, Mr. Douglas, will not reduce quotes in ways that compromise material quality or long‑term durability just to win business. That level of honesty and commitment is rare, and it stood out to me. I am genuinely pleased with the results and the professionalism shown throughout the project. I wholeheartedly recommend Carlos and his team at Skylight Roofing & Restoration for anyone seeking high‑quality roof replacement, gutter installation, or window restoration work.

Prompt, professional service!

Owner is very professional and has been in business for 20 years. It is reputable company

I was very pleased with the service. They had the skylights that needed to be replaced in stock and were able to schedule the repair quickly. They replaced the skylights in less than 1 day. The job was clean and so far without leaks. In addition, they installed an attic fan and worked with me to install the fan that I wanted. In general, they were very professional, did great work, and were a pleasure to deal with. I would definitely use them again and I have already given their information to another person who would like to install an attic fan.

Skylight Roofing & Restoration did a phenomenal job! Their communication was excellent throughout the entire process, and they even took videos and photos of the completed work so I could see everything up close. I am extremely happy with the new skylight installation. Highly recommend!

My skylight needed to be replaced and I prefer to use a local contractor. I called Skylight Roofing & Restoration and Mr. Saneaz provided an estimated cost for the project in a timely manner. The work was completed on time in a professional manner. I could not have asked for a more professional and reasonably priced contractor. I highly recommend this company. I will not hesitate to use this company again should I need to utilize any services that they provide.

I had 1 Skylight that I needed to replace, and then ended up replacing both after inspecting them as they were almost 20 years old. Mauricio came and looked at the job, and got back to me quickly with a quote. Scheduled the job, and the guys came on time, and got the job done quickly. They did a great job, cleaned up everything when they were done, and I couldn't be happier with my experience.

We recently had our entire roof replaced and had a fantastic experience. Carlos of Skylight Roofing and Restoration was professional throughout the whole process — he showed up when he said he would, communicated clearly, and his crew did excellent work. The cleanup after the job was impressive; you'd never know they were there. Best of all, the new roof comes with a 50-year warranty, which speaks to the quality of the materials and installation. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Carlos and Skylight Roofing and Restoration to anyone in need of roofing work.

Nicely done! Very prompt and professional service!

Mauricio and the team did a great job. I would definitely recommend them

I just had my roof replaced by Skylight Roofing and restoration . My roof looks amazing ! Home improvement , consultant Mauricio Saenz, walked me through the process . The clean up was impeccable!! I highly recommend this company !!!

The quality of the workmanship is excellent—the new roof looks great .I would absolutely recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable and trustworthy roofing contractor.

2 of my friends did their roof recently with sky light and recommended the company to me. I have an excellent experience with them. They are very polite and knows what they are doing. They have performed an excellent job . I am very happy with the result and definitely will recommend sky light to my friends as well.

Carlos was very responsive to my initial call and subsequent follow up contact. He was very thorough in explaining what the quote included and provided detailed information on the products he’d be installing. The job was completed on the day he confirmed. There were no surprises I’m very happy with my new roof, it looks great The Owens Corning products have a 50 year warranty

Carlos was the man!! Very professional and punctual.. Very satisfied with my roof & skylight..

Orlando and Steven were great! Super responsive, flexible, and replaced all of our skylights seamlessly. They left the job spotless and even replaced a small light that got bumped during the install. Highly impressed with the friendliness and ease of this project!

Orlando and his team were fantastic. They were on-time, did fantastic work, and left the house exactly as it was when they arrived but with a beautiful new roof

I had the skylight in my bathroom replaced by Skylight Roofing & Restoration. From the start, Carlos provided detailed information on what the job entailed and kept in touch with me to schedule the replacement and answer questions that came up along the way. Overall a very positive experience. I would, without hesitation, recommend Carlos and his team. Sankar

These guys are the most professional contractors we've ever dealt with. After we noticed a leak on our 30+ year old skylights, my husband did some research and found these guys. They came within a day to review the job and provide a quote for the pair of skylights in our bathroom. It was reasonably priced for quality Velux windows, and a comprehensive folder with all certifications and informational documentations were provided to help us make our decision. It was an easy one. The plan was for Monday, but it snowed the day before. They came out regardless, reviewed the conditions of the roof, and advised it was probably a no go due to safety concerns. No worries, we decided for Thursday. The team of 2 came right on time, and completed both jobs within 2.5 hours. They took the time to put up plastic coverings on both our bathrooms and put down pathways to not dirty on homes. They replaced both windows and surrounding roofing area, and the finished installs looked flawless. The next day it rained quite a bit, but no more leaks! Plus the updated remote shades worked very nicely. We are very happy and would recommend this team to anyone looking for updated skylight!

These folks live up to their solid reputation. I shopped around before deciding to hire them. The project i had in mind I knew was small but fairly complicated. They were very upfront in great detail about the specific work to be done and their pricing was definitely competitive. They won me over with scheduling the job asap. Then followed up with me after the install, following the first rain and then again the following season after the first snow. I was very well pleased by that extra show of care. Carlos, their boss returned periodically to check the progress of the work. He came off as very sincere and has been in touch since just to wish us a happy and healthy new year. During the install, the roofers were respectful of the neighborhood as well as our property and friendly. God bless those fellas and their families for doing their work with integrity and dedication.

We were referred by our neighbors on the same street to replace our 22-year-old roof. It was during the supposedly busy season in New Jersey (late fall and early winter) but initial inspection was quickly done on the same day when we called with thorough details. They offered the same installed price per sq ft across our neighbors and we think it was fairly reasonable for New Jersey where labor costs are often higher than the national averages. The materials seem on the premium side as well. So, we decided to use them. Carlos, who managed the entire project, did a great job communicating and coordinating. He brought a crew of 9 and finished the project (>4000 sq ft roof area) within 1.5 days. We are completely satisfied with the installation process itself. We cannot comment on warranty, follow-up communication etc. as we just had the roof installed. We'll come back to update the review if we experience anything negative in the near future (hopefully not!).

I compared skylight prices with several vendors, and this company truly stood out. Not only were their prices very competitive, but the owner also took the time to thoroughly explain the products and assess exactly what my home needed. I really appreciated that he focused on doing the right job rather than pushing me into any unnecessary services. The installation itself was excellent. They finished a large roof project in just one day, and the craftsmanship was beautiful. After completing the work, the team carefully checked and cleaned up all the nails to ensure there were no hazards left around the house — a level of attention to detail that is rare these days. Overall, the entire experience was smooth, professional, and trustworthy. I highly recommend them.

We have replaced Shingles. Carlos and his team did an excellent job. They were very professional, punctual, clean and efficient in their work. They provided all the details of their work. It was a great experience working with them.

I needed a full roof replacement and got quotes from 5 area companies. Carlos was the most helpful and straightforward in the estimating process. He answered all my questions, explained the products and options well and was excellent about communicating as I selected a vendor. Skylight has a competitive price- not the lowest but the total cost was one I felt very comfortable with after working with Carlos. The day of the roof install went great. The team showed up in time and prepped well and got the job done in a long day. The new roof looks great and I am Happy I have a durable long lasting product. I can recommend Carlos and Skylight Roofing for further work. I especially liked the drone footage updates of the process.

Worked with Carlos Cuello to have a Silicone Roof System applied to commercial roof. Carlos and Team did a great job on prep, application and cleanup. Customer service and communication was top notch. Would strongly recommend Carlos and Skylight!

Great Co. to deal with. They were here for 3 days. Treated our property with care, were neat, polite and efficient. I have dealt with many contractors over the years and have never dealt with better.

Carlos was exceptional, above and beyond my expectations. Walked us through the whole process. He was on site over seeing the whole job with live updates throughout the construction. He even found other companies to do the work his company didn’t do, like landscaping, and oversaw that whole job. Was with us till the end and would recommend Carlos and Skylight roofing and restoration to anyone.

We had been discussing getting a new roof for some time but were overwhelmed with the enormity of the project and finding a reputable company. After our neighbors used Skylight and raved about the experience, we signed with them as well. Carlos fully explained what the installation would entail and got to work within a few days. His team was so professional and Carlos was on site the entire time- letting us know what was happening at every step. He also sent photos and videos via his drone ( every few hours)so we could see all the work in progress! We couldn’t be happier with the results. The team also left our yard and driveway spotless which after ripping off our existing roof and replacing the entirety- was extremely impressive. We would highly recommend Skylight!

Very happy with my skylight and roof installation. Mauricio was very thorough in explaining the project and making sure we were satisfied with the final results. Everything was done on time. The crew also did an excellent job with cleanup after the project was done

I am very pleased with the installation of the roof replacement provided by Carlos Cuello and his team. Throughout the process, Carlos was incredibly helpful as he guided me through the entire process, from the initial estimate to the final installation. His communication and oversight was exceptional. Additionally, the installation team was efficient, professional, and made sure the site was thoroughly cleaned up once the job was completed. If you are considering a roof replacement, I highly recommend reaching out to Sky Light Roofing & Restoration.

Skylight roofing is unmatched in professionalism and care. Carlos managed our roof replacement from beginning to end with attention and perfectionism. I really can’t say enough good about the entire experience.

Great process and customer experience. Arrived on time and the job was completed in less time than promised! I would highly recommend

This review is a little delayed, but we had a great experience with Orlando and his team a couple months ago. They replaced a very old skylight we had with a beautiful new one, and they also were able to move and put back a couple of solar panels, which was necessary during the replacement process. Orlando was great with honesty and communication, and was very professional throughout the whole process. I highly recommend Skylight Roofing & Restoration, and I would definitely have them back again for any future work.

I cannot say enough about Orlando and Skylight Roofing and Restoration. After filling out, required information to schedule an estimate,Orlando got back to me immediately regarding setting up an appointment. That day He had performed an analysis of our roof and quickly arranged an in-person meeting to discuss the details of the contract. We met on Friday and he scheduled the work that Monday. The quality of the workmanship is outstanding. His staff are dedicated, thorough, snd incredibly hard-working. The job was completed in two days, with his staff working for almost 13 hours a day; and they did an extraordinary job. I was surprised after day one when I came home and I saw his folks working on my little shed in the backyard. Orlando actually had them replace my shed roof so it would match the roof of my house without an extra charge! All four of my skylights were replaced. There was not any evidence of this inside the house. It was immaculate. Orlando and his staff were organized and efficient. After the job was completed, everything was put back perfectly in place and the condition of my property outside, similar to the inside of my home, was left spotless and without any errant nails. I would give Orlando and Skylight Roofing and Restoration 10 stars if possible. Look no further if you are considering replacing your roof.

Prompt, courteous, competitive price and capable. What more could one ask?

We recently had our roof and several skylights replaced and are very pleased with the job done by Mauricio and team! From the beginning they were very detailed and organized with their proposal and Mauricio was there every step of the way to make sure we had all of our questions answered. They scheduled the job immediately and the finished product looks amazing. The crew went above and beyond expectations and even patched a broken board on our deck as a courtesy (broken by a storm the week prior, not by them)! Great experience overall and I would highly recommend the team at Skylight Roofing!

Excellent service!

I could not have been happier with the job done by Sky Light Roofing and especially their representative Orlando. He did an exceptional job working with me and making me comfortable with the entire project. His skilled team of workers showed up on time completed their work as promised and cleaned up after themselves like true professionals. I was so impressed with what he did and the way I was treated that as soon as the project was done, I enlisted him to do the roof on a second home that I own. Honesty Integrity Quality workmanship. And a competitive price. That’s what I got and I couldn’t be happy.

We noticed a leak around a skylight and contacted Skylight Roofing & Restoration. Orlando came and took a look. He said he had bad news and good news for us. The bad news was that there were lots more problems with the roof, so we probably needed an entire new roof. We knew the roof was on the old side, so that wasn't a total shock to us. The good news was that he saw evidence of wind damage on the roof. He said he would work with our insurance company to get an independent inspection. They verified that there was wind damage, and so the insurance company paid for the entire new roof, except our deductible. Skylight did the work on time, including the roof, three new skylights, and a new solar tube. They were excellent to work with. What started out as a skylight leak ended up being a new roof and skylights, and we paid only the insurance deductible, thanks to Orlando noticing the wind damage, which we had no idea about.

Having a roof that was 20+ years old, we were in the market for a new one ASAP. After meeting with Carlos, we knew right away this was the company that we wanted to go with. He explained the process in detail and was extremely informative. He was able to schedule us within a week and we couldn’t be happier. With his team’s arrival and set up, the updates throughout, and the clean up- everything went better than we expected. If you’re looking to replace your roof or have any issues at all, Skylight Roofing is the company to go with!

When it comes to roofing this company knows what they are doing. Their customer service is amazing. The workers are great specially their project manager Carlo’s Cuello, he was there from beginning to end inspecting and updating us on the step by step process while our roof was being replaced. If anyone needs a roofing company I highly recommend Skylight roofing and restoration.

We had a new skylight, new roof, and new gutters done by Karla and the team. Every step of the way, Karla and the team could not have been more responsive. It has been two years and everything is holding up great!

Carlos and his team are first class professionals. From the moment they arrive to the moment they finish their job. Every detail is addressed and every question is answered. I highly recommend Carlos and his team and will continue to use them for my future restorations and home improvements!
