These guys are the most professional contractors we've ever dealt with. After we noticed a leak on our 30+ year old skylights, my husband did some research and found these guys. They came within a day to review the job and provide a quote for the pair of skylights in our bathroom. It was reasonably priced for quality Velux windows, and a comprehensive folder with all certifications and informational documentations were provided to help us make our decision. It was an easy one. The plan was for Monday, but it snowed the day before. They came out regardless, reviewed the conditions of the roof, and advised it was probably a no go due to safety concerns. No worries, we decided for Thursday. The team of 2 came right on time, and completed both jobs within 2.5 hours. They took the time to put up plastic coverings on both our bathrooms and put down pathways to not dirty on homes. They replaced both windows and surrounding roofing area, and the finished installs looked flawless. The next day it rained quite a bit, but no more leaks! Plus the updated remote shades worked very nicely. We are very happy and would recommend this team to anyone looking for updated skylight!

We had been discussing getting a new roof for some time but were overwhelmed with the enormity of the project and finding a reputable company. This review is a little delayed, but we had a great experience with Orlando and his team a couple months ago. They replaced a very old skylight we had with a beautiful new one, and they also were able to move and put back a couple of solar panels, which was necessary during the replacement process. I cannot say enough about Orlando and Skylight Roofing and Restoration. After filling out, required information to schedule an estimate,Orlando got back to me immediately regarding setting up an appointment. That day He had performed an analysis of our roof and quickly arranged an in-person meeting to discuss the details of the contract. We met on Friday and he scheduled the work that Monday. The quality of the workmanship is outstanding. His staff are dedicated, thorough, snd incredibly hard-working. The job was completed in two days, with his staff working for almost 13 hours a day; and they did an extraordinary job. I was surprised after day one when I came home and I saw his folks working on my little shed in the backyard. Orlando actually had them replace my shed roof so it would match the roof of my house without an extra charge! All four of my skylights were replaced. There was not any evidence of this inside the house. It was immaculate. Orlando and his staff were organized and efficient. After the job was completed, everything was put back perfectly in place and the condition of my property outside, similar to the inside of my home, was left spotless and without any errant nails. We recently had our roof and several skylights replaced and are very pleased with the job done by Mauricio and team! We noticed a leak around a skylight and contacted Skylight Roofing & Restoration. Orlando came and took a look. He said he had bad news and good news for us. The bad news was that there were lots more problems with the roof, so we probably needed an entire new roof. We knew the roof was on the old side, so that wasn't a total shock to us. The good news was that he saw evidence of wind damage on the roof. He said he would work with our insurance company to get an independent inspection. They verified that there was wind damage, and so the insurance company paid for the entire new roof, except our deductible. Skylight did the work on time, including the roof, three new skylights, and a new solar tube. They were excellent to work with. What started out as a skylight leak ended up being a new roof and skylights, and we paid only the insurance deductible, thanks to Orlando noticing the wind damage, which we had no idea about.

Skylight roofing & Restoration changed my roof and created a skylight window for my bathroom. It a big beautiful skylight window! They were very professional, responsive, and thorough! The new roof is beautifully done! They even colored the pipes to match the roof color! It took a little longer to get the sunlight window’s shade due to ordering issues. This used to be a great company. We did skylights with them about 4 years ago and they did a very good job. Recently we wanted to replace one of our old skylights and called them without any hesitation since we were so satisfied with the work they did before. The problem now is that we’ve been waiting for a quote from them for almost 2 months. I called numerous times asking when they will get back to us. Each time I got a response that they conveyed the message to the manager and somebody will get back to us. So far we still did not hear back… how disappointing…

After shortly moving into our home, our skylight started leaking in our bathroom. I did alot of research and had multiple estimates to ensure we would have it replaced by a reputable company. Mauricio came out and was wonderful providing a fair estimate - he did a thorough inspection and also shared our attic fan was broken and degrading and was causing water staining in our attic. His team was punctual, clean, communicative and when we had questions after the job was done about the shingles/flashing, his team provided feedback and Mauricio came out again to inspect everything to make sure it was installed properly. I highly recommend Skylight Roofing! They did a fabulous job replacing my dad’s roof. Upon meeting Orlando he explained the process and left me samples to ensure color was in line with current roof shingles. He also assisted with the HOA when I was having difficulty getting a hold of them to make sure we were following the complex protocols. Orlando made sure to communicate from the onset of the project through completion. His team arrived early and worked well into late day. Upon completion they used a magnetic roller to pick up all nails from around entire home. And when they left there was no indication they were ever there except for a beautiful new roof. After the recent tropical storms and 3 days of straight rain, our 30 year old roofing finally decided to give in, leaving us with interior water damage and a leaking kitchen ceiling. We have 2 Velux skylights in our fireplace room which has a cathedral ceiling. During the peak of summer the sunlight would glare off our wall mounted TV and increase the temperature by 2-3 degrees. I was looking for solar powered blackout shades and discovered that Velux make these specifically for the skylights we had installed 10 years ago. Velux recommended Skylight Roofing as certified Velux installers - I am so glad they did. I contacted them and they sent Orlando (the sales person) to check on the model and size. He gave us a quote and also included fixing the framing inside that the original installers did not take care of (I have been trying for 10 years to find someone to do this!). Orlando was professional and very helpful during the whole installation. Once the shades came in Onix arrived on time to install them. He did a great job and is very professional, courteous and answered all my questions and paid attention to my requests. The shades are awesome and the frame fix by Onix looks great. Orlando contacted me to make sure we are happy and asked if there was anything else they could do. Well we had 3 other replacement skylights that needed the same frame fix. Orlando provided a quote within the hour which we agreed to and Onix was back the next morning to make the fixes. Two of them were a challenge as they were not evenly fitted but he found a solution that works and looks great. It's getting harder to find companies and people that actually care and take pride in what they do - Skylight Roofing is a company that has people who do. We are very pleased with what they have done and highly recommend this company

My experience with Skylight Roofing with regard to installation of a new Timberline GAF roof approximately 4500 ft.²: 1.- Great workmanship. 2- Amazing team and crew that works together flawlessly and seamlessly. Products are delivered before the job, the crew shows up early and on time until the project is done, and the cleanup is amazing. No pre-payment or money was requested until the job was completed and to my satisfaction which of course it was. 3- Mauricio is honest and caring and on top of your job 100%. 4.- offers a choice of excellent GAF products that are made to work together. 5- fair and honest pricing which I believe is significantly better than the over priced contractors that do not offer any more quality, And somewhat more costly than subpar contractors who offer lesser quality and sub standard workmanship. All in all, Skylight’s pricing is excellent for the quality of products and workmanship. I highly recommend Skylight Roofing. Mauricio is an upfront guy who is likable and easy to work with and tries to make everything right every step of the way. Mauricio showed up on time, and walked me through the roof system, and gave me the quote. No pressure. He was patient with my questions and quick to respond. The roof was installed in 1 day, and everything went perfectly. This demonstrated that Mauricio has a tight process because 2 more parties have to show up at the right time (the supplies' truck, the dumpster truck). I am pleased with the results. I have nothing but high praise for Mauricio and his crew. Our job included a roof replacement, replacement of 4 skylights and the installation of 2 solar tunnels. From our initial meeting which included a video inspection of our old roof through job completion with a final video of the completed roof, the process was smooth, the crew was professional and the result was excellent. When the crew left our property, it was cleaned inside and out as though no work had taken place. The gutters were adjusted as Mauricio had promised and no longer leak. I found Skylight123 a Signature Skylight Specialist on the Velux USA site. they had the highest rating ( 5) in NJ. I needed an urgent skylight replacement as my old skylights were leaking badly with the heavy rains we had recently in NJ. The skylights were about 25 years old. Skylight123 was extremely accommodating; they added me as an emergency visit to their busy schedule ( thank you Karla!) and Mauricio came and inspected the roof and the skylights in my kitchen. We decided on the model and he made it possible to have the installation within a few days, just in time to avoid the new round of fall rains. The price was fair and the work was impeccable. Great experience with Orlando from quote to completion of project. He was very professional, detailed oriented, patient and on time. We compared 2 other roofers and he was the only one spending a time (2hrs) in taking lots of photos of the old roof, gutters, skylight windows. He thoroughly explained to us what the conditions were and what his recommendations would be. He said our gutters are still in good shape so we could wait a few years if we maintain them well. We ended up having our roof and skylight windows replaced. The crew was so efficient and hardworking. We were impressed by their work and have recommended them to our friends.

Karla was a joy to deal with. She kept looking for a timeslot that will work for me. We exchanged emails a number of times and she didn't stop until an appointment is set. She notified me ahead of time of a change to the scheduled time which worked for me as well. Mauricio came by to look at the roof leak issue. He was honest enough to tell me that I need a plumber to fix the issue and not a roofer, that my roof looks good and that there's flashing where some other roofer told me there was none. He cared enough to warn me that leaves are collecting in the vent and I need to have it fixed as soon as possible. I'll keep them in my list of companies to call in case I have any roofing or skylight needs in the future.

Everything was very professional from the fist moment Orlando stopped by and discussed options and contingencies for the roof replacement. The replacement was done according to the schedule and the costs were exactly as planned. The installation team was excellent and both did a high quality job and left the yard as they found it. One important element in the selection of Skylight was Orlando's help in connecting and coordinating with a partner company to remove and reinstall the existing solar panels.

We have had other roofers give us estimates to take our old roof down and replace it with a new one. Skylight Roofing went up on the roof took pictures and explained everything to me and my husband. They did not pressure us, they truly put us first. When the crew showed up, they waited to make sure they were not starting to early. They tarped our house prior to removing the old roof, they made sure every thing was covered. They worked systematically, their process was amazing to watch. Elvin explained everything they were doing. Unfortunately we needed to replace some roofing, they took pictures of the bad wood, and when they brought it down they showed us. They are awesome, we have the correct under layment, drip edge, frost guard and flashing. I have never felt so confident in a company, as i did with Skylight Roofing. We highly recommend them. Their prices are great, their staff are hard workers, and they truly care about the quality of work they are doing.

My experience with Skylight 123 was fantastic. Mauricio provided an estimate quickly for a skylight replacement. When inspecting the skylight, he voluntarily caulked a larger crack, temporarily fixing the leak until the new skylight would be installed. This was a custom window installation , so he made me aware it could take up to 6 weeks for delivery. That estimate was accurate. Karla (office manager) called to schedule the appointment. 5 days later, the skylight was installed. Following the installation, Karla followed up to determine how the installation went. Just had a huge rain storm, the skylight works great. Mauricio, Karla, and the crew are the best. Couldn't be happier with their effort. Would recommend then for any roof, gutter or skylight work.

Alex and his crew were excellent in every way. They were professional and really cared about their craft. They removed and replaced 4 skylights and repaired my roof efficiently and timely. And did beautiful work. I would use them in the future and would recommend them to everyone.

We had a good experience with Skylight. The customer service was excellent. I submitted a request online and was immediately contacted. Set up an appointment quickly. A printed quote was given to me right away at the time of the visit. I made a change later that day to add blinds in the skylights and a new quote was immediately sent out. I was told 2 to 3 weeks for them to get the skylights. I emailed for a status about 2.5 later (last Friday) and was told the windows had arrived that day and they wanted to know if they could install on Monday. They came on time and finished the job in about 3 hours. Part of the seam inside the house within the skylight box pushed away from the wall. I told Alex about it and he grabbed a ladder and some caulk and fixed it up without question. Blinds work nice and quiet by remote control. Was bit pricey but probably worth it. Very friendly people. Highly recommended.

After careful examination of multiple roofing quotes, it was clear that Skylight was providing superior roof underlay materials, superior warranty, all top quality GAF branded materials at a competitive price. Skylight will not be the cheapest but if you ask the right questions from lower priced contractors, the difference in price becomes more obvious. Installation went smooth and professional. The installers showed up on time and stayed till dark and completed my roof in 2 full days. They took care to protect my windows, siding, and decking during installation. They took time to remove siding to install corner flashing (a step most roofers tend to ignore reusing existing flashing to save time and $$s). Cleanup was meticulous, they went around the house multiple times looking for nails during cleanup. Overall, a job well executed. I would highly recommend Skylight Roofing.

We were originally impressed with the owner's (Mauricio Saenz's) reasonable estimate to replace the rather long roof on our house. The workers came on the days promised--and came on time. They did an excellent job, and cleaned up well at the end of each day. Mauricio was friendly yet very professional; and he definitely went out of his way to address any questions or concerns that we had. Even his sub-contractors that installed new liters and gutters and did some inside ceiling touch-up, were very careful and thorough.
