This company is one you can trust. Trust them to diagnose the leak problem, work quickly and efficiently to get it repaired and then bill you a reasonable cost. When I called them, I was so frustrated with the roofer's feeble attempts to solve the leak. I had spent so many hours trying to work with the roofer (that caused the leak) to resolve the problem. So I was amazed at how easy the fix was when you work with a knowledgeable and honest company.

We really enjoyed working with Boise Skylight. The crew was really friendly and very easy to work with. I felt very comfortable having them in my home. The kitchen in our older home is in the middle of the house, far from windows. Cody made a great recommendation and gave a fair estimate, and Steve put in a 14 inch solar tube in one hour. I think it would have taken me more than a day to do it myself, probably with a lot of second guessing and missteps. The natural light is a joy. I only wish we hadn't waited so long!

We had a wonderful experience with Boise Skylight. Our ancient skylights got replaced with new clear panes that actually let us see the sky. Our project took a longer time than projected to finish but our payment didn’t increase at all, which was a great relief. Steven did a wonderful job! We have a very sloped metal roof, and it was not a problem for him. Yay, go Steven!

From the first contact at the Boise Spring Home Show on March 22 to the home inspection and bid two days later to the installation in early April, Boise Skylight did an amazing job! We are extremely pleased with our new solar tube. Our dark kitchen is completely transformed into a beautiful light-filled space! Today we had 3 Velux Sun Tunnels installed in our home, and what a huge difference it made. I did some research and a friend recommended Boise Skylight company to me. They came today and had all three Sun Tunnels installed in less than 4 hours. Steven and Colby installed them, and they did a great job and cleaned up so well afterwards, and they were professional and very nice. Five stars!

We found Boise Skylight Company at a local home show. We had just bought a new home and some of the rooms in the center of our home were extremely dark. We had been talking about putting in some solar tubes. We set up an appointment for an estimate with Steven and Cody. They provided us with a reasonable quote and said they could install right then and there. They had the job completed within two hours and did a really great job, cleaned up after themselves and were very easy to work with. We brought them back a week later to do two additional solar tubes in our hallway. We can’t believe the amount of light these things added to the interior of our home.

Replacing an old skylight. They came out and assessed what was needed ,ordered the skylight and installed once it came in. The installation took maybe 15 minutes to remove old skylight and put new one in without a mess. Outstanding and highly recommend.

I called Boise Skylight to come replace some skylights in my older manufactured home. Phil came out and gave me a free quote that was pleasantly lower than I anticipated. Manufactured homes come with their own set of issues, and Phil was great explaining the process. I scheduled the job and they were able to come complete it within 2 weeks. Their work and customer service is top notch. They communicated every step with me and sent me photos of their work. I would recommend them to anyone!

Replacing a skylight is something I did not want to tackle. Called Boise Skylight first to get a quote. I usually get three bids for a project. From setting up the appointment to install was top notch. They have been installing skylights for a long time and it shows. Prompt, personable, clean and more affordable than we thought. The skylight looks great and is so much better than the one that was in the house. Tracy ,Paul and the installer Steven were terrific. Make sure you call this company first if you need a replacement.

Had a bathroom/closet/stairwell & hallway that did not have much natural light. After researching different companies we settled on Boise Skylight. Paul came out the next day and discussed options and provided a quote. We also elected to replace a non-working attic fan in addition to placing a gable fan in attic. Steve came to our house three days later and place 4 tunnel skylights and both fans the same day! The fans are super quiet and work well. The tunnel skylights made a HUGE difference in the areas they were placed and bring in an amazing amount of natural light to those areas. Both Steve and Paul were awesome and terrific to work with! Had a roof leak by skylight. After Meridian LLC looked at the roof they also recommended replacing skylight. Quote was very reasonable to upgrade to better skylight. Boise Skylight was brought in to help with the skylight while Meridian LLC handled the roof repair. Excellent work and time to completion. Steven and Paul are masters at their craft! I couldn’t recommend them more. They were able to put in a skylight that goes through an upstairs room closet and an attic in order to bring light into our kitchen on the first floor. I LOVE it and the light has been life changing! They were also so patient and kind with my highly interested toddler boys. Honest, hardworking men! So glad I found them.

Our living room and hallway was so dark that, during the day, we used our can lights constantly. We needed a solution and contacted Boise Skylight for some help. Paul was our sales contact. He told us about Velux Sun Tunnels, explaining all the advantages they could bring to both areas. He helped determine the light we would gain, and suggested what models to install along with locations the fixtures would be installed. Steven was our installer. He is a hard working individual and promptly set himself to work. Throughout the installation I was talking and asking a lot of questions. He didn't mind at all and answered all the questions I had. His work was impeccable, very organized, knows the roofing business and has lot of knowledge on skylights. Last person I want to give kudos to is Tracy. She works the office. She will respond to you with any questions lickety-split. Great customer service! This was the team and we are very happy we gave them a call. Our living room and hallway make us feel like we didn't turn a light out. I should mention the light is helping adjacent rooms as well. We used Boise Skylight to add 3 Solar Tubes to our very dark interior and WOW what a difference it has made for us! Every time we leave the room, we want to turn off the lights off, out of reflex, but its the free solar lighting keeping the hallways illuminated. I couldn't be more impressed with the problem solving and cheerful service from Boise Skylight! We have an old flat roof at our small business, and I thought the leaks would never end! I was thrilled that Steven suggested an innovative, economical fix that has kept water from dripping into our office since! We had other roofing companies come and "work on" the problem only to find it leaking two weeks later. I was thrilled with Steven's problem solving skills and get-it-done attitude. When I suggested another issue that I didn't know how to fix, he came up with ANOTHER solution that has kept customers from getting wet entering our store- all in only an additional 15 minutes. Steven came out and did a fantastic job explaining how much light we should expect from the solar light tube, with the knowledge we gained from his expertise we decided to go with two so our kitchen area as well as a section of our great area would benefit from the new found light. The results were beyond expectations! The job was completed professionally and all debris was removed as well as all areas were left very clean when the job was finished. SOLAR TUBES - JUST YES! This is our 4th house in a row that we've installed solar tubes to illuminate the inadvertant "caves" in our homes (See before and after pics attached). It's amazing how much brighter dark hallways are after these tubes are installed (includes solar night light in tube as well)... We are 100% believers! We met Steven at the Ford Center this past weekend and had him do the install this week. Great experience as he's a really nice guy, and he was done installing the tube in about an hour, so he's good at what he does as well! When we first started getting the tubes in the early 2000's, the full install was around $650... The price is now around $1000, but the transformation of those "home caves" is still very much worth it... Every now and then, one regrets a home upgrade, but I believe we have put in 9 total solar tubes and never regretted any of those installations... Well, I guess I wish we could have just moved the tubes from one house to another, but I'd suppose the buyers wouldn't have appreciated that much. 😉 Bottom line is that if you have an area in your home that needs light, Steven/Boise Skylight is a great choice to "get'er done"! ps. This is a family owned and run small business in the Boise area... Buy local!!!

Can say enough positive things based upon my experience and dealings with both Paul & Steven. In the midst of the Christmas holidays and approaching the weekend, i started noticing leaks around the area of the skylight entering into hallway area. I called Boise Skylight and got a return call within less than an hour. Paul was willing to come out on a weekend to assess the problem but we decided that since I already had resorted to placing a tarp over the skylight, we arranged for an appointment at a later day providing the weather elements permit. Steven was the installer, he came out and identified the problem; replaced the flashing and made other minor adjustments to prevent further water entry. I’m happy to report that there’s no further leaks. A shout out to this business for integrity, honesty, timeliness and overall professionalism.

What a great experience! I was dreading repairing my 27-year-old original Skylights at our home fearing having to tear apart my roof, etc., after we had some moisture in the old units. That’s when I reached out to Boise Skylight and Paul immediately returned my call and was out giving an estimate Immediately. We then proceeded to order the Skylights and they came in within days and we’re called to install promptly. Steven was our installer. He did a great job meticulously cleaned up the job site took away all old materials in boxes and now we have beautiful new skylights. Great price, great service. We hired Boise Skylight to install a skylight in one of our dark hallways. They came in gave a couple of options on placement and were competitively priced. They installed the skylight in an hour. It brought so much new light that we no longer needed lights during the day. When we asked Stephen if there was a way to “warm” up the light he offered a diffuser filter that works great! I didn’t know who to call about our cracked skylight. I called around to window and roofing companies but no one was interested in the job. Boise Skylight is an amazing company! From my first phone call to inquire about a skylight, I was impressed with, even just over the phone, how nice Paul was. Then at our initial appointment for an estimate we met Paul and again felt that he was such a nice guy. We had to have another appointment to further investigate our roof, and Steven came with Paul. Steven was also super nice and friendly! We felt confident that we could trust them both and we hired them to install a skylight in our very dark kitchen. The skylight turned out even better than we had hoped it would! Paul and Steven did the work installing the skylight onto our roof and Joseph came and did the framing and drywall from the skylight on the roof into our kitchen ceiling. Steven installed three new lights in our kitchen as the skylight was placed where our only kitchen light used to be. Each of them did really great work! They were professional and they were very efficient in how they contained any mess, (actually they really weren’t messy at all!) But most importantly, their kindness and their friendliness really stood out to us. We enjoyed the process from beginning to end. Steven came back a few times to help us troubleshoot and set up the solar panel to get our skylight to open and he never made us feel like we were a bother. Instead, he genuinely seemed happy to come back and help us get things set up. Overall, Boise Skylight is one of the best companies we have ever hired. We would hire them again and in fact we hope to have them come back and install another skylight; (or possibly a Sun Tunnel if we can’t fit another skylight into our current home.) The daylight in our kitchen makes a dramatic difference and our family has benefited greatly from the natural daylight every single day since they installed it. I own and operate a local roofing company, we needed a skylight that wasn’t a standard size, Boise Skylight was a pleasure to work with and helped me get the right one ordered. We ended up not needing some of the materials we added onto the order, and they returned them for us and sent a check for the refunded amount. Turns out I never cashed that check, Boise Skylight reached out months later when their bank informed them it had never been processed, and they had another one sent right away. They were able to fix/repair all of recently installed skylights (including a custom skylight) by another contractor who really botched them all. I had a whole house fan and a Sun Tunnel installed and Steven and Tracy were both very helpful and informative before and after the installation. I LOVE the Sun Tunnel Every time I walk into the room I think I forgot to turn off a light. Too cold to use the house fan but can't wait to crank it up when it warms up. The installation was completed quickly and Steven even cleaned up before he left. Idaho Power is offering a $200 rebate for the house fan and the IRS lets you write off 30% of the cost/installation of the Sun Tunnel. So it's a win-win! Highly recommend!!

We had Paul and Steven install skylights and a Sun Tunnel in our house. Paul went above and beyond in the beginning planning, as we have a fire suppression system we had to work around. He helped contact vendors and get quotes for us from various fire suppression companies. Once everything was approved he handled all the scheduling. He was great with communicating times and dates everyone would be working at our house. The skylights are amazing, they open our place up, and bring in much needed light. Steven with Boise Skylight recently installed two sun tubes in a new addition to our house and we could not be happier with the results. From the first call they were professional and prompt, and also very accommodating with scheduling around both the roofers outside and the ceiling installers inside. Steven is very knowledgeable about the product and answered all of our questions about which size tubes to go with for our application, questions we had about the solar night lights, and even showed me how easy it was to customize the bottom ring color from white so that I could make a black ring that matched the rest of the can lights in the room. Can't speak highly enough of Boise Skylight! A couple months after I bought my first home, Boise recorded the rainiest August in local history, and one of my skylights started leaking. I reached out to Boise Skylight via email to see how much a repair would cost. They very quickly responded, checked out the skylight, and gave me a thorough quote. I chose Boise Skylight because, in addition to giving me the best price and having great personable and professional service, they also offered a multiple year warranty on pretty much everything. When I reached out to Boise Skylight to schedule my repair, they informed me that, due to a clerical error, my skylight repair would actually cost more than they had originally quoted me. However, in the same breath, they told me they would honor my original quote. Very generous of them! Nothing was set in stone when I called to schedule, so they could've easily sent me the new quote and asked me to pay the higher price if decided to go with their business. Wanted to give a huge shout out to Boise Skylight & Solar Tube. I saw them at the home and garden show a couple weeks back and had them come give me a free quote last Friday, which was way less than I thought it would be. The whole process was impressive. The crew was prompt, efficient and clean. I expected a lengthier process and more dust, but they installed 3 skylights in about 3 hours and left barely a trace. I can not recommend this company enough! They were so kind, honest, and professional. I was having a horrible time finding someone local to fix my skylights and Paul even tried to offer advise/help so that I could save money by not having them travel to me. Boise Skylight's technician installed a 14" Sun Tunnel in our laundry room. The light this provides is more than I expected. Same day estimate and same week install of my new hybrid attic fan in prep for record height temps coming. I took Paul’s recommendation and went with a hybrid fan so it runs off solar during the day and electric at night when needed. I could feel an instant temp difference in the bonus room upstairs. We can now use it all through the summer months comfortably. Couldn’t be happier with their quick, knowledgeable, and professional team. About 8 years ago Paul installed a skylight in my living room. Boise Skylight installed two solar tubes to brighten up the darkest corners of my dining room and hallway. I cannot believe how much light the tubes emit, but they do not heat up my house like a window or skylight and the diffusers soften the direct sunshine. Had my skylight installed in November and is doing great. Install was good but a bit of a scramble getting the drywall guy to show up with some missed appointments. Paul and his son are great at getting back to you if issues arise and the tax credit was very accurate. When doing taxes make sure to state that the project was solar, not just a skylight to get the full credit. (Assuming you get the solar blinds added) Overall very pleased with the purchase!

What Paul told us about the Solar Tubes was right on! It brightened our family area like he said it would. We don't need lamps on during the day now! I am so very impressed with Boise Skylight!! We had a skylight tube installed a few weeks ago by another contractor we got referred to by Home Depo. He charged 2 1/2 times as much as Boise Skylight and took 4 hours ( 3 people working). Boise Skylight took 1 hour. Steve the installer was punctual, very friendly and professional. When I asked Steve to come back to have a solar collector, battery and light installed in the tube we had installed by the other contractor it was scheduled immediately and completed the very next business day and we only had to pay the price of the part. At first I was disappointed that there was not bright sunlight flooding the area, but I do like the additional light the Sun Tunnel provides. I called Boise Skylight and spoke with Steve about installing 2 solar tubes in our laundry room and master bathroom. Just had Steven Sulik from Boise Skylight install a 14" Sun Tunnel to brighten our kitchen. We own a two story townhouse that suffered from a lack of natural light and needed a cure. We used the back corner of a large hall closet to bring the from the roof to the kitchen. Steven was prompt in giving us a bid for the job that was competitive. Last week as we were all enjoying our spring rain my Sun Tunnel skylight began to leak. In a panic I began to call someone to repair it. I was told it was too old to repair and I would need to replace it. I was given two companies to call. One being All Solar Idaho. Steven answered the phone, imagine that! A real live person. Boy was he a saint. Not only did he answer all my silly questions but suggested I call a couple of other companies to compare bids. One didn't return my call until late in the day and the other let me know he couldn't work me in until after Memorial Day. Really!!! It's raining everyday. Needless to say guess who got my business! After a remodel, I ended up with a very dark area, and chose All Solar Idaho to install a Velux solar tube to add some light. I was very happy with the installation and all the new light I now have.

Steven personally replaced two skylights in our home, as well as the flashing associated with each skylight, and he replaced two attic fans. I was/am impressed with the quality of his work and his attention to detail. The price was reasonable, Steven was super easy to work with, and I'd hire him again in a heartbeat.

It only took a few hours and you would not have known they were even there as they cleaned up after themselves and put everything back where it belonged. Steven was awesome. Would HIGHLY recommend. He came out the same day I contacted him about a bid and was very straight forward and answered all my questions thoroughly. Once we decided to move forward with the project, he was able to schedule us almost immediately. Installation went smooth and looks great; he even did a little roof work for us while he was up there. We love our 14" solar tube. It has totally changed our kitchen and we keep asking ourselves why we didn't do this sooner.

Steve from All Solar recently repaired and replaced my leaking skylights. He did a great job and I would definitely recommend him to anyone needing new skylights or skylight repair. He is very reliable and keeps you well informed as to what he is doing and why. He is very respectful of your time and works very clean. I had 8 skylights that had been in for over 20 years. He came up with an innovative idea on how to repair them and had some custom skylights built He even went out of State to personally pick them up. He was always very positive and a pleasure to talk to, gave a fair written estimate, and stuck to his bid. He also helped me find someone who could do some finish work and repair some water damage I had suffered on the inside. I think that he really enjoys his work and likes to solve skylight issues. I would definitely recommend him and use his services again.

Steven installed (4)14in Sun Tunnels in our home, in the living and dining rooms. The ceilings are vaulted and have wooden slats. They make such a difference, we love them! We had 3 different bids for this project. We chose All Solar ID, because this is its specialty, not just a tag-on service, it's a locally owned company, and Steven has roofing experience, as well as a solid knowledge of Sun Tunnels. Steven promptly replied to questions and we were able to have the tunnels installed within just a couple of days. It only took him about 3hrs to install two (on 2 different days) and he cleaned up after himself. Would definitely recommend.

Steven replaced an existing Sun Tunnel that was in my home when purchased in 2004. Unknown how long it was in place at that time. Steven arrived as scheduled, was very neat when removing the old and installing the new plus took away the debris. I am a very happy camper.

Steven was working on neighbor's home across the alley when I asked him for the name of someone who could clean my gutters. He came over as soon as he finished at the neighbor's and did my gutters himself, right then and there. Unlike previous helpers, he collected the gutter contents in a bucket, did not use a hose, and left no trace of his work.....except clean gutters! He is quick, efficient, relieable and kind, very pleasant to work with. This year he came at 5:30, end of the workday, end of the week, and was still as cheerful and careful as ever. I am grateful for his good work, and I reccomend him highly.

Steven gave us a realistic timeline (about two weeks) and fulfilled it. The installation took a few hours and I came home from work and it was completely done! We are so happy with the placement and how much light floods into this previously dark corner of our home. It starts to brighten even in with the first light of the day! I always walk over and try to "turn off" the light during the day, because it is so bright! We also had a light fixture installed. The whole thing is really nice looking, it's only about 1" off the ceiling and looks really slick. We are totally happy with it!! Sorry about all the dust you can see on my closet doors :)

What a wonderful surprise! A simple inexpensive solution to a dark room. We had a great experience having Steve install two Solar Skylights bringing light to the kitchen and laundry room. We even get a tax credit for having them installed. No more dark mornings or nights because of the Solar light that shines when the Sun goes down!

Steven was the only one who figured out how to put a blind that opens and closes in my skylight for under a thousand dollars even less than $500!! He explained how to use the remote for a blinds very well and made it easy to understand everything about the product Installation was very quick and he was here and done in under 20 minutes. Last year Steven replaced two old skylights for us with New Low E skylights. Much better. With all the smoke soot and dirt my wife thought one looked cracked. We called him this morning and he came this afternoon and cleaned them. No crack. They look great and we appreciate not only the new skylights but the fast service a year later. Someday we will need roof work or a new roof and we will call Steven again.

What an incredible experience!! The owner Steven (also our roofer) had spoken to us a number of times about the advantages of a Sun Tunnel to brighten up our house, and he wasn't wrong! No more dark kitchen in the middle of the day and being my wife loves natural lighting, this was a perfect addition to our home. I wasn't on board at 1st but now I'm sold. We highly recommend All Solar Idaho owned by Steven Sulik!!! His Web site was easy to understand and made it possible for us to decide the correct size for our lightning needs. We called him on Monday and a solar tube was installed on Tuesday. He cleaned up all traces of debris and left his work space clean. Great company! We decided to have a skylight installed in our kitchen. Steve came over the same day I called him to give us an estimate. All Solar Idaho was the only company (out of 4 I contacted) that offered to instal a 4x4 skylight (other companies said they installed only 2x4 skylights). Steve and his crew did an excellent job! They were thorough, cleaned up after themselves, offered to come back for free if we weren’t happy with the job (which we were), billed us exactly what they quoted us and were very nice and personable. Their work exceeded our expectations! We will definitely hire them in the future when needed.
