These guys are top notch. They were the third contractor we called and all the rest were unflexible with scheduling and some did5 even respond to my voicemails! As soon as I spoke with them, I could tell the difference. They were accommodating, gave an frank thorough assessment and related estimates. There was NO upselling just facts on the status our roof, what was needing immediate attention and what could wait. Work was done efficiently, invoice was clear. (no surprise fees) payment process easy. They have made it into my contacts list as our go to roofer!

Very pleased with the professionalism and quality of work. Cristina and Andres were knowledgeable, communicative, and a pleasure to deal with. Highly recommend!

A definite recommend. We had a great experience with Skylights & Roofing Experts from start to finish. We had an issue with a cracked skylight and another that was leaking and needed to find a company that had skylight expertise. Andres and Cristina came out to inspect, gave us a fair quote to replace and repair the issues, and communicated with us throughout the process until the job was done. The new skylights with integrated shades are fantastic, and the peace of mind knowing that we don't have to worry anymore when it rains is priceless! Thank you Andres and Cristina and crew!

Skylight Roofing Experts exceeded my expectations from start to finish. They were knowledgeable, never pushy, offered fair pricing, completed a flawless installation on schedule, and completely transformed the look of my home. I highly recommend them. Andres and Christina were always prepared and ready for any questions. Give them a call!!

From start to finish they were professional and did a great job.

We wanted skylights installed and found this company through the Velux website. We interviewed two companies and after meeting with Andres and Cristina we knew we'd go with them. Andres was thorough, knowledgeable and confident he could do what we wanted. Cristina had all the information available at her fingertips to answer my questions and showed us many photos of their completed jobs to help us decide on the design for our project. They even came with a sample skylight in their trailer so we could see and feel the quality of the skylights. On installation day, a very cold day in December, the fantastic 6-person crew arrived well before 8am. They hung plastic sheeting from the ceiling to the floor to enclose the work space, laid down protective paper and canvas tarps to protect the floors and used a specialty air filter to protect us and the crew from excess dust. They laid plastic sheeting over our nearby furniture for additional protection. Outside, our roofline is quite steep and I was relieved to see that the person assigned to be up there wore a safety harness. Andres was here all day working and supervising; the guys doing the drywall finish-work were here until quite late so the next day only final sanding and painting of the drywall needed to be done. (Drywall is not easy to do well, and this crew did an excellent job while standing on a tall ladder working above their heads.) They did a terrific job cleaning up afterwards as well. The finished product exceeds all expectations - we couldn't be more pleased. But more importantly, Andres and Cristina / Skylights & Roofing Experts are the kind of people you WANT working on your home; kind, courteous, professional, friendly, competent and experts at their job.

These guys are phenomenal. Cristina patiently answered all of my questions. Andres oversees an amazing crew. Everyone was polite, respectful, cleaned up thoroughly — IN ADDITION to competently putting on a beautiful roof … and explained the process every step of the way! Couldn’t be happier the journey along the way OR the end result ‼️

We needed a leak diagnosed and were unsure if it was gutter, roof or skylight. Andres and Cristina came out promptly to inspect. They took photos and found the problem right away. They explained everything clearly and offered me a couple options for solutions in order to give me different price points to work with. We ended up replacing several skylights and were so pleased with the final result. Everything looks great. The crew was very professional and the work seems top notch. The communication was very detailed and Cristina is just lovely to work with. I feel confident that this company really knows their stuff and is providing solid work. I would use them again and I would recommend them!

We recently had three skylights replaced by Skylights & Roofing Experts, and the entire experience was excellent from start to finish. All the positive reviews I read beforehand were spot on—this company really delivers. The team was professional, efficient, and clearly experienced. The new skylights look great and were installed with care and attention to detail. Communication throughout the process was clear and timely, and the crew made sure everything was clean before they left. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them and will definitely call them again for future work. Great job!

We found this company just through google search. Andre was very professional and they were also cheaper than other companies we asked for an estimate. Also, my husband said that Andre knew what he was talking about when he came to do an assessment for the estimate. Very happy with the quality of work. They completed work over two half days. Our skylights look great. Thank you and defo recommend this company.

Working with skylights and roofing experts was a very easy Process. During their initial visit, they took the time to understand our lighting situation, how we would use the room and our expectations. They gave us some great options. We have encountered other skylight installation companies that were not as thorough. The information was clear and accurate. They installed the skylight a few days later and the installation team was very efficient and courteous. I am thrilled with my new skylight. Andres and Christina were a pleasure to work with. I would highly recommend.

Cristina and Andres are extremely knowledgeable about Velux Skylight installation. Everyone was professional and very willing to answer all of my questions. For 20 years my family room was dark and now I have light without having to use lamps. Thanks again to the team.

Excellent company. Quality work, very knowledgeable about Velux skylights, great communication and prompt service. I highly recommend them for skylight and roofing work.

Tremendous service and quality! The company installed two skylights in my living room and wow - what a difference! The workers were polite and did a good quality job. The owners also asked for feedback and didn't leave until everything was addressed. Finish on the inside is immaculate - you'd never know the skylights weren't original to the house. Definitely recommend and will use again once I find a spot to put more skylights!

I had a suntunnel put in a room in my finished attic which has no windows. It makes a huge difference. The first picture is before and the second is the room with no lights turned on. Just the light coming from the suntunnel. The representative and roofers that helped me were great. They were very prompt with providing the estimate, scheduling the work, and then completing the work. Everything was handled very professionally. I was very pleased with Skylights & Roofing Experts.

I recently had my siding roof replaced, including the installation of new skylight on my house. I couldn’t be more impressed with the service I received. The team was incredibly professional and responsive throughout the entire process. One of the standout aspects was their thorough cleanup after the job was completed. Not a single piece of debris was left behind, which I greatly appreciated. Even my picky neighbor, who is usually hard to please, gave them a thumbs up for their work! Overall, the entire experience was hassle-free, and I didn’t have to worry about anything. I highly recommend this company for their outstanding service and excellent workmanship. Five stars!

The owners (Andres and Cristina) were a pleasure to work with to replace our kitchen skylight. They were very knowledgable, could answer all my questions when choosing the opening option, perfect for a kitchen! Love it! They are professional, polite and I didn’t feel a bit of pressure. Our house has several skylights and I would definitely have them do all of our future skylight replacement work. Highly recommend them!

We chose Skylights & Roofing Experts to replace 3 existing skylights for us in August of this year. We selected them based on their knowledge, expertise and also because we genuinely liked Cristina and Andres and wanted to work with them. We were not disappointed! The work was completed when and as promised. The Velux skylights look great and we love the solar shades! We are very confident in recommending this company and plan to use them again in the future for our roofing needs.

Andre and Cristina were great to work with throughout the process of replacing 3 skylights at our house. They had a clear and fair estimate for the replacement, were able to knowledgeably answer questions, and were able to be flexible on scheduling the work around personal commitments that came up and changing weather. Andre and another worker made quick and professional work of the replacements, and I would absolutely recommend them!

We were very happy with their performance and professionalism in replacing our 20 year old skylights. Cristina answered all of my questions before the install and even moved us up a day in the schedule. Andres installed them quickly and cleaned up inside and out like they were never here. The Velux skylights are excellent quality too. Highly recommend.

Gaithersburg Roofing and Home Improvement, LLC replaced 2 skylights on one of my projects. They came out with sample "mini" skylights of the product "Velux" that they install. They showed my client all of the options for these skylights. We ordered and on the day of install they removed the old skylights and replaced with the new ones exactly as they explained at consultation. They were VERY efficient, tidy, and clean. Their install was smooth and flawless. This is a true professional company that really aims to please their clients.

We talked to three area companies about skylight installation and decided to go with Gaithersburg Roofing based on their obvious experience and expertise. We'd never had skylights installed, and I was looking for someone who could not only give me a quote, but also help us on the design side with size, placement, and lighting impact on the space. I also had a lot of nitty gritty detail questions, and was very thankful that when we first met Andres and Cristina, Andres was able to answer all those questions, given that he was the one that would be leading the install. It was a much more preferred experience to me than speaking with just a sales rep and wondering if all my concerns would properly get communicated to the installation crew. Andres & crew installed our skylights in one day, and they were able to source matching roof shingles. In addition, the drywall installation/painting looks great and there's no evidence that it was a later addition to the room. We're very pleased with the outcome of this project and would recommend. ☺️

I was very impressed with Gaithersburg Roofing! They came out quickly to do an estimate and were extremely professional. They completed the work shortly after and I was equally impressed with the quality of the installation, clean-up, and overall product quality. Would recommend.

Gaithersburg Roofing & Home Improvement did an excellent job replacing our five existing skylights, adding a new skylight, and replacing the roof. The work was completed on time, the quality was excellent, and they quickly worked through some unexpected issues with our 98-year-old house. This is a family business that treats you like family! Highly recommended.

We received excellent and timely service from Gaithersburg Roofing and Home Improvement. We installed three new skylights. Andres and Cristina visited our home to develop the plan and provide the estimate. They returned with a team of skilled professionals. Their work was quick, organized, and clean, and they all were lovely and thoughtful as well. We would definitely recommend working with them again!

Prompt and tidy. The house looks like a Million Bucks No more leaky gutters or downspouts !!

Very professional, knowledgeable, and thorough.

They replaced a ridge vent about 2 years ago on my old house and replaced some siding on my current home. Both times they were very professional, easy to work with, and did a great job. Would definitely recommend.

This is a family-owned company and they honestly take pride in their work! I recommend them highly. They were an absolute pleasure to work with, and their skill and knowledge is absolute.

The owners (Andres & Cristina) were fabulous to work with on my skylight replacement. They helped me pick the right skylight/blind combo for my rooms and my budget. They identified issues with my roof once they started opening it up, and made the repairs immediately and worked long hours to get it done. They are professional and polite and provided me a 5 star experience. I would definitely recommend using them for your skylight needs!!

Hired them to install a new roof and then again to repair a leak in our chimney. They also repaired the water damage that affected the ceiling. They are organized, clear in what they are doing, and have fair pricing. Recommend.

The Marins and company were excellent to work with from start to finish. They were able to promptly come out to inspect my roof and skylight and determine the issues. They then returned to replace the skylight and repair portions of the roof while also doing some basic paint touch up on some needed areas on the house at a reasonable additional price! Would definitely use them again!

Fantastic customer service, workmanship, quality and value. Would not hesitate to recommend or have back for another job!

Fantastic from start to finish! They worked so quickly and made sure that I had everything that I needed, including hi-resolution before and after photos photos of their work. Even Cristina, their office coordinator, was a dream to work with. Everyone was super friendly and most importantly took pride in their work! Most importantly, the work was really well done. I will hire them again in a heartbeat!

After noticing a leak near one of our skylights, we had Gaithersburg Roofing and Home Improvement (and two other contractors) come out to diagnose the issue and provide a quote for it. Andres was friendly and professional, and quickly identified the skylight as the source of the leak. They were very communicative and pleasant to deal with as we asked questions before deciding to go with them. Once we decided to go ahead with them, everything went well. They showed up on time, and replaced two skylights and the surrounding shingles quickly, and after that they cleaned up any debris. Unfortunately, we noticed another leak after the new skylights were installed, but Andres quickly agreed to come out and fixed it without any questions. They also kindly came by and fixed some additional issues they identified with our chimney. Very happy with their service overall, and would definitely recommend and use again in the future.

I had the team from Gaithersburg Roofing install 4 Velux power opening skylights. The salesman came to my home on time and wore a mask as well as took care to social distance. He was able to give detailed answers to my questions and explained the install process thoroughly. The install team arrived on time and again all wearing masks. They covered my floors and furniture with great care. The work was completed on time and the team even repaired a small portion of my roof that was not included in the install price. Once completed the team cleaned the work area and removed all debris. The foreman took time to explain the remote controls to me. In this day and age unfortunately, it is hard to find good quality skilled tradesman, however the team at Gaithersburg roofing did a great job and I will be sure to use them again. Thank you for a great job.

Very satisfied with the job of replacing three skylights . Would highly recommend

Great job

Best results!! 😊

Great service and professionalism and really great product. The automatic operation of the blinds keeps the home cooler and the motors on the blinds are very quiet. We also got a Sun Tunnel and that made a big difference in interior lighting as well. Now we can have the best of both worlds: the nice light that the Velux skylights allow, but the blinds that can shield the house from overheating on the hottest summer days

Gaithersburg Roofing and Home Improvement is the perfect company for skylight installation. From the very beginning, they were responsive and easy to deal with. Upon calling them, I was immediately put on their schedule and they subsequently came out to give me a quote within the week. Once on my property, Jose and Christina (husband and wife team) were able to ease all my concerns, answer all my questions, and give me a straight forward estimate for what the project would cost. I went ahead and committed to getting two 4x4 skylights installed. Once my skylights came in, Jose and his team worked from dawn until dusk to get the skylights installed within a day’s time. Their work and the Velux skylights themselves exceeded my wildest expectations. The way Jose and his team were able to integrate the skylight into my roof with matching trim, so as to give the impression that the roof was designed with skylights in mind, was utterly outstanding. The skylights and the labor come with a 10 year guarantee, so there’s no need to worry about leaks or any other problems that could befall your ceiling or skylights. Look no further for a contractor for skylight or roofing needs -- Gaithersburg Roofing and Home Improvement possesses all the qualities from a company that one could ever hope for: honesty, responsiveness, customer-service, integrity, thoroughness, professionalism etc.

After contacting 4 different companies to replace gutters and siding (aluminum to vinyl) at a professional building, we awarded the contract to Gaithersburg Roofing. Andres and his wife worked with me (building manager) to ensure we were satisfied with selection of materials and craftmanship. They were on site almost every day (Saturdays & Sundays included) working or overseeing the project. Their attention to detail & solving obstacles along the way in order to complete project on time was greatly appreciated. I would recommend them very highly as my experience with them was professional and timely. They also recommend the proper associate to handle our concrete needs. Thank you again.

Responsive same day service. Professional vinyl siding repair, Also took care of bird infestation issue at same time.
