They fixed the flashing around my newer skylights to make it right, since my roofer did it improperly. They did a great job.

It is silly that you can not pair a remote for skylight from standing under it. If I didn't know better this could have cost me almost 700.00 to purchase a remote and have it paired. However I love the Velox skylight itself.

Skylight Specialists inspected our skylights and confirmed that all but two looked to be in good shape. Their quote to remove, reseal and weather proof was very reasonable. Noah, the technician was prompt, courteous and did a tremendous job.

This local business was super easy to work with for replacement of both of our old skylights with new VELUX solar shade systems. They also replaced the flashing and our interior wood trim that was damaged by condensation. It did take a few weeks to get us on the install schedule, but we were in no rush. They don’t sub out their installs and their guys are clearly very experienced at their craft. Got up there with the drone and everything looks great! Easy to recommend this company.

When I purchased my house, I knew I had to pursue a skylight installation because the kitchen was quite dark/gloomy from the overhanging patio just outside the only kitchen window there is. I'm so glad that I did! It has made such a HUGE difference and all the natural light it brings in is amazing! It not only looks modern and updates my kitchen, but its also more welcoming and widens the room. From start to finish, it went really smoothly and everyone I interacted with was very friendly and professional. Julia was extremely helpful and great to work with in providing information, what to expect and answering any questions I had. Nick and Jake did my skylight install and they did a phenomenal job! I requested that the flare of the skylight be as wide open as it would allow and they accomplished what I wanted. They also installed the lighting for me, which was such a huge help. Wish I had this done years ago! We have a "flat roof" with no real insulation. We had the original bubble style acrylic or plastic skylights from the 1960's. Our house has always felt cold and drafty. Now with our new Velux skylights, it is the first time our home feels truly comfortable. An added bonus I didn't even realize until after installation is that closing the blinds adds an additional layer of insulation which will be nice on a cold winter night. Everything about the whole process was very well explained by David Ackerman and then Jordan Barnes came out and did the install. Very pleased!

What a difference the sky tunnels made! Our tv room faces east and we would need to turn the lights on in the early afternoon so it wouldn’t be so dark. Now the room is filled with light well into the late afternoon. Our installer, Jake, was on time, courteous, and explained everything he was doing. So glad we went with them !

I found this company by chance through Angi's List. I had been working on getting new doors installed for a couple of months - getting quotes, getting doors delivered, etc. - when I went to Angi's list to get some quotes for installation. I immediately got a call from Blade and he was amazing. There was no high-pressure selling, he was kind and courteous, very accommodating, and was able to get me on the schedule within a few days. (We did have to delay a few more days, but that was my fault, not his). And the price? About 60% of what I was quoted by another company and Home Depot Services. The contract was clear, concise, and included EVERYTHING - no nickel and diming! When working with contractors, sales people will promise everything, but work completion can vary dramatically. I cannot stress how much I was pleasantly surprised, honestly shocked, by the finished work. My installers were Colin and Jamie and they were some of the best vendors I have ever worked with. Upon arrival, they did an initial walk through and ask any necessary questions - standard. However, when they were about 1 hour from being done, they called me to return, as we previously agreed. When I arrived, Colin walked me through EVERYTHING. He showed me everything that was installed, any next steps that needed to be done (e.g. paint touchups), areas that might need to be addressed in the future (my doors were swinging a little too far back and they suggested some door stoppers and padding), he confirmed that the doors shut properly, the locks worked correctly, etc, etc, etc. He and Jamie also did a fantastic job of cleaning up including sweeping up the area and clearing the doors of any dust and debris. The effort to leave my home the same way as when they arrived was so refreshing and such a show of pride of work, especially when I have had contractors tell me they would charge extra for clean up. I cannot suggest this company enough. This company is a well kept secret that needs to be spread like hot goss.

I love my VELUX venting skylights with blackout blinds. They are solar powered and I can operate everything from an app on my phone easily. Came out in hours of my call and did the work

We had 7 Velux skylights installed on a steep roof: 5 were fully remote operated open/close w/full blackout and 2 were manually operated open/close but w/remote controlled blackouts. All remote open/close were battery operated. Seems to be great products so far and network s/w works well. Installers were excellent and did a great job to make us happy. I would easily recommend them for the work.

After a mild hail storm, a roofing inspector suggested we might want to plan on eventually replacing the okd skylight. I called Skylight Soecialists for an estimate. Julis took the bull by the horns. She measured the skylight, provided an estimate for basic one plus one with movable shade for hear and sun glare control. I dud not sct on Julia's proposal. This company deserves all the 5 stars! Why a lot of reasons: 1) No one wants to work in the mountains these days. Not so with SS they had someone up a day after I contacted them to bid my job 2) There extremely punctual, whn we set a date they stuck to it and arrived precisely on time. 3) Professionalism - everyone I dealt with knew what they were doing and took creat care to see out ptoperty was not damaged during construction. Frankly they left it better than when they started. The work crews were polite competent and hav all the required tools and materials ready to go. 4) Efficient - I figured several days to do the very difficult work. they took 1 day 5) Integrity - There was an issue with one pane of glass having a scratched coating. This flaw was INSIDE the glass and hence was caused by the manufacturer. I pointed this out and SS said if I wasnt satisfied they would replace it. No arguing or finger pointing, they scheduled a fix and I received excellent treatment as before. 6) Price - My extensive job cost 10 of thousands but given the complexity of the fix to correct the dozens of mistakes made by the original contractor I considered it more than fair 7) Excellent communications - All during this SS kept me up to date and was always available to answer a question or concern Quality product Quality people Quality execution. - doesnt get much better than that. I you get a lower bid from someone else consider how they could do that and provide SS level of service. I highly recommend this outfit

I was advised, it will take half a day to install skylight, but it took the whole day. He said they did not tell him that it is steep roof. . So I had to stay the whole day. Skylight works fine, nice and bright

I highly recommend SkyLight Specialists. We had 2 sky lights replaced. Blade gave me a very detailed estimate and scheduled the installation all within about 3 weeks. They showed up exactly on time and did a great job with installation. They took great care not to damage anything on the outside and the inside. We are happy with the inside trim around the windows. Blade was able to cover some cracked drywall so no painting was needed. I also thought the price was fair. They look great!

From beginning to end the SERVICE here was FANTASTIC and Price was under 1 thousand and the installers where very attentive.
