I couldn’t have been more pleased with our skylight. The crew that installed the skylight, Nick,John,Jake and Jake were great. They let me know when they planned to arrive, and were on time. Our skylight is very large, 8’ x 8’, not an easy thing to tackle. The crew moved furniture, covered everything with plastic so there was not a mess when the old skylight was removed. Installation was quick and efficient. They crew cleaned up and put furniture back where it belonged. Very professional and nice. Couldn’t be happier. Thank you.

The whole team at Skylight Specialists is great to work with! Excellent customer service, quality installation, and prompt service if any issues come up. I love my VELUX venting skylights with blackout blinds. They are solar powered and I can operate everything from an app on my phone easily. Jordan did a great job getting it all set up for me as soon as they were installed. We do not have air conditioning and they were a game changer for cooling our house this summer.

Skylight Specialists recently installed two skylights in my small bi-level home, and the difference they have made to the amount of natural light in the house is astounding. The skylights have literally transformed the living space from dark and dingy to bright and beautifull! The whole experience with Skylight Specialists was fantastic from start to finish. Julia, who came out to do the initial estimate, was an absolute pleasure to work with. Nick and his team did the install with smiling faces, great skill and super attention to detail. We had 7 Velux skylights installed on a steep roof: 5 were fully remote operated open/close w/full blackout and 2 were manually operated open/close but w/remote controlled blackouts. All remote open/close were battery operated. Seems to be great products so far and network s/w works well. Installers were excellent and did a great job to make us happy. I would easily recommend them for the work.

Julia Jobns is an excellent representative of Skylight Soecialidts. A few yesrs ago one of iur skylight was damaged. Skylight Specialists replaced it. After a mild hail storm, a roofing inspector suggested we might want to plan on eventually replacing the okd skylight. I called Skylight Soecialists for an estimate. Julis took the bull by the horns. She measured the skylight, provided an estimate for basic one plus one with movable shade for hear and sun glare control. I dud not sct on Julia's proposal. She followed up a number if times, and the next thing, Julua had me on the dotted line, purchasing the new skylight. Julia followed through to facilitate the actual installation. Company did a great job, the job was to replace a skylight dome with their recommendation of two smaller ones for a longer life span and to help with cost. Kevin Hyatt and 2 other workers made my installation of 7 skylight replacements a very good experience. They were at my address for 2 days and were prompt at arriving in the morning at 8 am and worked methodically to get all the skylights installed in that 2 day window. Kevin was very careful in covering the floor and furniture to assure my things were protected while working inside. At the end of the job, all was cleaned up and items were moved back into place as before. Would give this experience a 5 star rating!!

He made sure to lay down plastic to protect the carpet from the front door to the bathroom, covered fixtures in the bathroom, and diligently worked all day to finish up. The process was timely, Jordan the skylight specialist was on time and very professional. I was advised, it will take half a day to install skylight, but it took the whole day. He said they did not tell him that it is steep roof. . So I had to stay the whole day. Skylight works fine, nice and bright

I highly recommend SkyLight Specialists. We had 2 sky lights replaced. Blade gave me a very detailed estimate and scheduled the installation all within about 3 weeks. They showed up exactly on time and did a great job with installation. They took great care not to damage anything on the outside and the inside. We are happy with the inside trim around the windows. Blade was able to cover some cracked drywall so no painting was needed. I also thought the price was fair. They look great!

From beginning to end the SERVICE here was FANTASTIC and Price was under 1 thousand and the installers where very attentive. The installers let us know they would have to come back due to scratches in-between the glass so as to keep warranty they have to replace it. Used this company to replace the old-school 1986-installed, dome skylights in our living room and above the stairwell. (we could feel the wind blow in the winter, and the living room felt like a sauna in the summer). We were impressed with how fast someone was able to come out to give us an estimate-and he was honest and thorough in explaining our options and different-priced options. (He also didn't try to upsell us! Zero pressure!) We had gotten a few other estimates, and this one was much better priced, (one skylight was "custom fit" but they seemed to have more options for how to do it). The installers were fast, efficient, and cleaned up everything afterwards. We didn't have any issues or questions, but the office team was great about checking in throughout the process as well. We already have a VERY noticeable difference in the temperature in the main level of our house, and are looking forward to it showing up in our a/c and heating bills.

My living room skylight broke during a terrible hail storm at the end of May. I first called a competitor, and they quoted me $500 more than Skylight Specialists. Everyone at this company was super friendly and communicative. After I signed the agreement, someone was going to get back to me in 3-5 business days to schedule the install. 2 days after I signed, they called to tell me someone was going to be installing a skylight in my area, and they could just do it that same day if it worked. I an old cracked dome skylight that was water to come in to my ceiling and wall. The dimensions of my skylight were kind of unique. David A. set up my initial consultation and took a deposit for the fabrication of the skylight. About a month later, Nick and Carlos showed up to my house at 7:30am and completed the job by 10:30am. Our 1983 built home had the original dome shaped acrylic skylights that allowed for great sunlight to pour in to our top floor, but they were seriously inefficient - allowing heat to escape in winter and creating almost a greenhouse effect in summer. Allison was great in explaining what products would help with this problem. She came out to evaluate our windows and how her team could access the roof for replacement skylights. The installation team was very impressive -thorough, tidy, very respectful of their work space and our home. They completed all three windows in one day and my family noticed the difference immediately. Our central AC is no longer competing with the heat generated by those dome windows. And on cooler nights the remote controlled windows immediately allow extra heat to quickly escape. The climate control and energy efficiency of these windows makes me wish we had done this last summer, but grateful we didn’t wait another year before investing in this upgrade. We are in New Mexico and Skylight Specialists have a thin operation here. Nonetheless. their service was excellent and thorough. We needed to replace damaged and badly outdated Velux skylights. They responded to an overhead request, followed through, offered best solutions from currently available options and completed the work despite complications and delays. The delays put us up against a time stop due to travel, and Skylight found the flexibility to get it done. Special thanks to Mason, our installer, who went to personal lengths to accommodate our schedule. Four stars instead of five only, repeat only, because the service at a distance -- Colorado to New Mexico -- made timeliness less than ideal. Quality and responsiveness: five stars for sure. I was pleasantly surprised to be talking with very competent people that were more than happy to come out and look at the potential job, take measurements and give me an estimate the very next day. In less than a week, my wife and I were enjoying TWO new skylights that had been skillfully installed in here home office, in less than an hour. The new gas filled, flat glass skylights replaced plastic domes that were outdated and very energy inefficient. They are beautiful and we couldn’t be more happy. We recently had Skylight Specialists install a 2’x4’ Velux skylight in our kitchen, which was dark in the morning. The results were transformational; the area is now bathed in light and far more pleasant than it had been. Turns out my current skylight was old and parts are no longer available (verified). From the Salesperson to the Techs, this was a wonderful experience. All were professional and friendly. Caden and Jared were the techs and worked non-stop to get it just right which wasn’t an easy job as it was difficult getting the sun-tubes to fit between the joists. They replaced 4 old 12” tubes with 14” tubes. Jared came back the following day as he was determined to make it perfect and worked for hours to achieve this goal. I worked with Jenna and she was responsive and answered any questions I had. We had them out for an emergency cover after the huge hail storm in Littleton and they were able to squeeze us in same day even with it being towards the end of their work hours. This company truly does everything exactly how they say. The job was supposed to maybe take a half to a whole day, and finished within about 2 hours. We didn’t have and roof issues, or needing other supplies. We had older Velux skylights, and didn’t have any west side openings or venting for our top floor which gets the hottest in this old house. They were very conscientious in making sure the installation was correct and explained what they had to do to remake the skylight boxes as the VELUX window would not work with our old existing boxes. These guys did great work on our house! I work in construction, and I was wary of having just anyone cut into my roof and framing, which is why I went with Skylight Specialists. They are a certified Velux installer, and they work together with certified drywall company to provide full-service installation and repair. Our install was a little more complicated because we wanted a big skylight with a skylight well in our kitchen. It required some additional framing and moving of electrical, but the installers were professional and accommodating at every step. They put down and removed site protection every single day they were on site, and made sure to leave the space in usable condition at the end of each day. Our attic access is really small, but they never complained about having to crawl through the tight space. We got some minor pushback about filing a building permit with the city, but in the end, they handled the submittal and inspections for an additional fee as we discussed. In the end, it turned out even better than I imagined, and we are now considering adding a second skylight in our entry, as well as several Sun Tunnels throughout the house. The complete installation took 2 days, with final drywall texturing and finishing happening a couple weeks after. Every time I stand in my kitchen, it makes me happy.

Great Customer Service. During High winds an older original skylight on my house blew off my roof. I called Skylight Specialists, Inc and Josh was able to come out right away. The Skylight was still intact, so he was able to put it back on my roof, which was critical with the high winds, and cold weather and snow coming. If you have issues with your skylight this is a fantastic company to call.

After discovering a weird "pitch change" in my roof that prevented us from installing something a bit more typical, they designed and installed this custom skylight that brings in more light and looks way cooler. We had a great experience with Skylight Specialists. From the scheduling, inspection, proposal/contract signing, and installation, everything was really easy. Julia was great to work with and was available to answer questions throughout the process. The installation itself went really well. We were very impressed by the professionalism and kindness of Kevin and his team. Due to some water-damaged wood under our old skylight, they discovered they needed to replace the damaged wood before installing the new skylight (making sure to explain this to us and check with us before proceeding), making the installation harder and longer than they probably planned for. Even so, they worked all day to finish the project, and even stayed an extra hour to install some inside trim around the new skylight and give us some suggestions on our other skylights. It really felt like they went above and beyond and we were pleasantly surprised and very impressed. We will definitely be calling them again for future skylight replacements!

I honestly didn't know companies like Skylight Specialists still existed! We had them install 7 skylights and the project could not have gone smoother! They said they could do it in two (2) days! And that's exactly what happened. The crew of 5 or 6 guys showed up on time in the morning and worked together as true professionals. They were very accommodating and pleasant to deal with. They did a GREAT JOB, and when they finished they cleaned up so well, you would never know we just finished a major project! Again, I didn't know companies could still field a crew so polished and professional! Bravo to Skylight Specialists!

I was looking to have my skylights replaced in my kitchen. After extensive research I decided to go with skylight specialist which had great reviews. Josh came out to inspects and take measurements. We had a great experience with Skylight Specialists to fix our leaky skylight. They worked with us while we were transitioning from the previous owners of our house during our moving period. Between receiving a quote, scheduling, and the actual install of our new skylight, this process couldn't have been easier. During the install, the technicians were polite, cleaned up after themselves, and worked in very cold temps to get the job done (highly appreciated as it snowed that afternoon). The guys came out yesterday to repair and install flashing on 3 skylights. They showed up on time, did a great job, cleaned up well and showed us how the work was done through a great set of pictures. I would recommend these guys to anyone interested in new skylights or just a repair.

I had new skylights installed about a week ago. Kevin and his crew were right on time. They were very professional and cleaned up the area before leaving. Julia who I worked with for scheduling and follow up was so easy to work with. She is very friendly and easy to get ahold of. I didn’t expect to feel anything special getting new skylights but I was wrong. The skylights look great and so clear. They gave a new view out of the skylights than my previous skylights. I’ll be getting new sliding doors in a couple of months and can’t wait to be able to work with Skylight Specialists again!!

I can't recommend skylight specialists enough! We started our process by contacting almost half a dozen different installers and not only were skylight specialists the first to reply, but after going through the process of getting quotes, they offered us an amazing price. They were flexible with my scheduling and I had an installed skylight within a few weeks of contacting them. They practiced excellent covid 19 etiquette as well and always wore appropriate ppe. If you're looking to get skylights installed right and for a great price, seriously think about contacting these folks!

I usually wait a bit before leaving a review on construction projects just to make sure no issues that pop up later. I called Skylights Specialists after my old skylights were leaking and letting a draft in. Josh Ewing was very helpful and was able to get me an appointment asap. He explained the different products and what would work best without trying to upsell anything I didn't need. Very low pressure. Kevin Hyatt and someone else came out and installed them. They were very professional and took Covid precautions seriously. Everything about this experience was fantastic and I thought there has to be a catch. Several months later everything is still perfect. Very happy with Skylight Specialists. One tip if they read this: Maybe add pictures of the skylight from the roof after install since customers might want to see it and can't make it up the roof :)

Wow, y'all, these people are amazing. We had a super deep skylight put into our living room this past July by these folks, and we were super impressed at the time and have been in love w the light it has brought into our house! With this last cold snap, though, we ended up seeing a few leaks coming through... these folks (Mark, Josh and Lock, among others) came out IMMEDIATELY to see what was up. Turns out it was a combo of my house having some higher humidity and my husband and I deciding not to have it immediately finished back in the summer, but Mark took so much time explaining to me what was going on, and even tho the skylight itself wasn't leaking, these folks still came back this morning w a bunch of supplies and made triple sure that I won't have leaks coming thru from the frost and condensation that forms in my attic. Josh is also finding me a quote to get the shaft mudded and taped to finish off the whole thing. This is service that is above and beyond and I would recommend their work to anyone.

Josh Ewing was fantastic to work with! Josh designed a MAGS system with integrated VELUX solar venting skylights incorporated into them. They installed 32 skylights into my home (3 banks) in less than 8 days. The crew showed up on time, were super friendly to my wife, super playful and careful around my black lab Diesel, and very courteous of the residence. They only time they were not working is when they would pet the black lab for a few minutes. They did an excellent job of cleaning up each day and communicating with me on the progress they made (or did not make) each day. I have worked with two other outfits prior to Skylight Specialists and am really happy to have met Josh. I will continue to work with them on a go-foward basis and will recommend them to others. Mark the head installer was knowledgeable, straight-shooter, & courteous. If I were to guess, I am guessing 20+ years of industry experience based on conversations we had.

Although I live HOURS away, these fellas not only took the drive, but they arrived EARLY! They managed to keep the work in a secluded spot, which they went above and beyond to clean up once complete, and kept me involved in every step! They were kind and courteous, and very professional. Also, did I mention that this happened all in February in Colorado!? We just had a snow storm and another that was on the way, and the way these men worked, you'd believe it was a bright sunny summer day. I literally sat in my living room for hours just looking into the sky, watching snow accumulate on the new skylight. I am beyond happy, I thank them, and most importantly, my plants thank them! The house was very dark, almost spooky dark, and now it feels like an ad in Better Homes magazine! I took pictures and posted them to my social media, and already referred them to a friend. This is such an exciting day. I only bought this house in late 2019 and was ready to place it back on the market because well, I'm a plant lady. After yesterday's new install, that idea is out the window! Who knew that for the right price and a few hours, a house could turn into a home! Thanks again fellas!

I found Skylight Specialists through Home Advisor, and after receiving several phone calls and quotes, I chose them to install two skylights. I'm SO glad I did! My experience began with Julia, who was incredibly helpful and responsive to my needs throughout the project. (She also didn't annoy me with repeated phone calls after our project was delayed!) Once our funding came through, we were able to schedule and complete the job in a matter of days. Then Mark and Kevin showed up for the install. These guys know their stuff! They covered all my furniture to protect them during construction, and left the place exactly as they found it (except, of course, for the two beautiful holes in the ceiling!) Mark was VERY helpful in determining the exact placement of the skylights, and his 30 years of experience was really helpful for someone like me who knows nothing about this stuff. All I can say now is that I want MORE skylights, and I won't hesitate to call the specialists when that time comes!

I had my first skylight replaced over two years ago due to hail damage by Skylight Specialist. I decided to get the other 3 replaced this winter. I chose Skylight Specialist again to replace them due to my experience with them and my HOA recommended them as well. They were the old dome type and old!! It is so nice to have beautiful clear flat ones! So nice to get all three replaced in one day. They were on time and finished an hour ahead of schedule.

About 3.5 years ago, we moved into a log home. The home is beautiful, but very dark inside. After much research, we settled on Skylight Specialists to put in a skylight for us. We were dreading having it done based upon our previous contracting experiences in other homes. We always said that contractors leave your home in worse shape than before they came! Not so with this company. Mark and Barry were wonderful! They carefully set up protective measures before starting. They worked quickly and efficiently, and the resulting skylight was beautiful and looked like it had always been part of the house. It has been about a year and a half now since it was installed, and it has made such a difference in this house. We would not hesitate to work with this company again, in the future.

If you need skylights - new or replacement - you can stop looking. I cannot recommend Skylight Specialists enough. My quote was prepared same day. The provided all the documents for my HOA and then scheduled to install two weeks later. The job was tough (steep pitched roof at a townhome) and you wouldn’t know it was tough from the work they did. They showed promptly in the morning, worked through the day and stayed to make sure both my rooms were cleaned to my satisfaction from the debris that fell through. It was barely an inconvenience for me. The cost was very fair. Based on the work they did, I am very comfortable with what I paid.

Fantastic work, and some of the best customer service I have ever encountered. I had Skylight specialists bid 3 different options, and ended up going with 1 skylight in my kitchen. Devin Birmingham came out 3 separate times (and a 4th after the fact) to explore different options with me. Ultimately the install from David was flawless. Devin even came out one final time to make sure I was 100% satisfied. I was a high-needs customer, and never once did I feel like an inconvenience. On December 3rd much to my amazement Joseph and his coworkers performed a work short of a miracle. I needed a leaky oversized improperly installed skylight replaced on my roof. They were very professional, timely, friendly, and informative. They divided my skylight into two Velux standard size without ruining my newly installed roof. Kevin and Christian came and replaced my skylights today. After struggling with roof leaks for years I was finally able to have my skylights replaced! Also, After speaking with Locke about my troubles, he offered to go above and beyond to help make sure my home was dry and safe. They patched up surrounding tears in the large flat apartment roof as well as boarded up the hole in my ceiling. They also agreed to come back out once the roof is replaced next year and reinstall the seals to insure a lasting seal and product. I am so happy with the responsiveness from Julia their scheduler to all the people who have come out to help me. Thank you!!

I've used Skylight Specialists for multiple jobs now; we'd live in a better world if other contractors held themselves to the standards that Skylight Specialists hold themselves to. Skylights certainly are not cheap; Skylight Specialists were fairly priced and I wouldn't hesitate to do business with them again in the future. They were communicative from the beginning in bidding the job and answering any and all questions with the understanding that their products are not cheap and the intent of getting it right the first time. They communicated clearly about scheduling and followed up with punctuality each day in completing each of my multi-day installations. My most recent installation wasn't without issue, but nothing on their part, and I truly feel like they bent over backward to accommodate me after I put the brakes on mid-job. Expressing that their ultimate goal was a satisfied customer, they did everything they could to make it right. Neither they, nor I, foresaw the issue that arose during the completion of my job. Skylight Specialists were patient in working with me through to a positive outcome. In owning and maintaining an older home, it is expected that the unexpected will happen. What's most important is how those unexpected issues are handled. To that end, Skylight Specialists went above and beyond on my last job, not only with the skylight install, but working with me (through a problem they didn't create) to a positive end result, and making sure I was happy after the fact. Techs took care to protect the areas around their work and cleaned up after the job was complete.

As an NP, I was working 12-15 hours a day and as the cases of SARS-CoV-2 continued on, my partner was equally exhausted in her work as a therapist. We rarely saw the light of day during this time. Josh Hannon was incredibly patient and worked with us amid the chaos and our ever-changing hours for installation. The installer, Paul was incredible and the Sun Tunnel is just perfect, brightening up our once-dark farmhouse dining room! This was even more appreciated after I contracted the virus and ended up in the hospital, then quarantine and prolonged recovery, requiring oxygen at home. The added brightness helped as we had to put our beloved Goldendoodle down and the ray of light highlighted the many wonderful flowers we received from loved ones. It's been a difficult year and the muddy recovery from this virus is unrelenting, but I will be forever grateful for this gift of light- especially as we are now working from home as we can and the dining room is now my partner's office. Skylight Specialists, Inc. is a top notch organization and HIGHLY recommend considering them for a skylight or Sun Tunnel to bring light into your home and your lives! We could all use more light in our lives, but especially now as daylight becomes scarce into the winter and more of us stationed at home as this pandemic continues on.

Don't procrastinate like me! This was so easy Yes even during Covid 19 I've lived here since 1985. One of my skylights was always a tiny leak issue, but since my electric line runs close by I assumed it was going to be a bigger deal to replace. But it was noticing cracks in the one over the bathtub, while taking a bath, that made me find the business card I had gotten during last home show in Denver. I still assumed this was going to be a major project, super heavy units.. and really expensive.. probably require short power outage. I was so wrong and should literally have done this decades ago. Kenny & Devon did such an excellent job I took pictures. Good thing I'm not a Facebooker or I'd have posted there. Fortunately I remembered to tell them about extra shingles stashed so they made them look perfect! Judge for yourself

Skylights Specialists replaced 8 skylights in our home in 2014. One skylight frectured recently. Josh was our original salesperson, and was again our advocate with the skylight manufacturer, and even had someone come out to cover the skylight against adverse weather. Kenny installed the new skylight yesterday. He was very courteous and personable, and totally impressive! We have a concrete tile roof, which requires very careful treatment, and Kenny was a pro! I cannot speak highly enough of the service Josh and Kenny provided. I would highly recommend this company to anyone in need of skylights.

Excellent and quality skylight product. Installation by Devin Birmingham demonstrates excellent customer service. We have a tile roof and installation required cutting some tiles and even replacing one that got cracked. They did a fantastic job installing our two skylights. Inside they did great job sealing and aligning the frames. The quality work performed for the installation was beyond expectations and I cannot recommend Skylight Specialist enough. They have a customer for life and when we need to replace our skylight in 15-20 years. If you need to replace leaking skylight go with Skylight Specialist, you cannot go wrong.

James showed up on time & was so professional & friendly. He worked hard to find the correct spot to place my new Sun Tunnel & it was not easy. I have a 100 year old house & it has challenges as new owners over the years kept on building additions. Paul came to lend a hand & the job was quickly finished. They laid down plastic & vacuumed anything beyond. These two guys are very sweet & so pleasant to talk to. All in all it was like having family members over! Wow - I don't write a lot of reviews, but this company deserves some serious kudos. I could not more highly recommend. We just bought our first house in Ned and out of 4 total skylights in the home, 2 were cracked when we bought. This was the first priority for us to fix upon moving in. I worked directly with Stan to schedule a consultation, and he was phenomenal. He communicated with me regularly, he sent a thorough proposal, he followed up regularly and was a pleasure to work with. Stan was great, and our first impression of the company through working with him was fantastic. Not only this, but when we did finally decide to pull the trigger on the skylight replacements after doing our research with a few vendor consultations, we found Skylight Specialists to be the most affordable. Stan did not try to up-sell me or push special features that we didn't need, plus they offer a 10 year warranty on their work. They scheduled our work promptly, ordered the products, and we had the installation done today. Barry and Kenny were our specialists, they texted to alert that they were en route and arrived right on time. The two of them were truly wonderful, both incredibly nice, polite, helpful, and went above and beyond in the process as a whole. They worked quickly and were very respectful as I was working from home and on conference calls off and on throughout the morning. They did a phenomenal job installing the skylights themselves, keeping the area clean and covered, and working quickly. Barry even touched up and re-caulked/sealed the interior aesthetic framing of the skylight (which was not required by them at all, nor part of their expected work). Skylight Specialists did a remarkable job on our skylight and solar blind install. We had 10 skylights and 7 solar blinds installed over 3 days as a replacement to our existing skylights. The sales team worked with me up front to explain in detail and update the contract as needed before we scheduled the work. The crew, led by Devin B, were outstanding. The crew was polite, professional, respectful, and helped to protect my house by rolling out plastic on the floor from the doorway to their workspace and cleaning up after each day. We actually had lots of family in town unexpectedly during this time, and Skylight Specialists were very understanding of the situation and completed the work with minimal disruption to us. The workmanship was excellent and I did not need to provide oversight as Devin and the crew were skilled and committed to doing a high quality job. From start to finish, the customer service and professionalism was top notch. I'm very pleased with how my new skylights look, and only time will tell if the seal is water tight and will withstand our wonderful Colorado weather changes. The only complaint I have is there are a lot of black fingerprint marks on the drywall inside and some of my landscaping was bit roughed up. Nothing that can't be fixed though. Thanks to all!

A fine company with efficient and timely service! I would recommend them in a heartbeat. Josh came over and gave us an estimate for the skylight we wanted. He was thorough and measured everything and in a day or so e-mailed our estimate. We accepted, sent in a third of the job cost and were called within a day or so as to when the job would actually be scheduled.The person in charge of doing the job itself called and made certain we both were in sync with the starting day. On the day work was to begin we were met by two of the installers, Davin Northcote and Matt Tighe. Two tireless workers who completed the job in a day. They cleaned up at the end of the job and we were quite pleased with the efficiency and quality of their work. Now that they were finished they told us the final person to finish the job(drywall patching, texturing etc) would call in a day or so. Sure enough the drywalled finisher called agreed on a convenient date for all concerned. Clayton, the fellow doing the drywall work showed up as promised worked a good 9 or 10 hours and did a spectacular job. Again totally professional with a keen eye for quality and craftsmanship. Cleaned up thoroughly when he was finished. All the above done in just two days! When we decide to do another skylight in the near future we would 100% call Skylight Specialists! Top notch people from top to bottom!! Bar none!

One of the four Velux skylights that were installed in a cathedral ceiling in 1996 stuck open due to a broken part. Skylight Specialists had a technician out quickly to close and fasten the skylight. The replacement part was no longer available so I ordered replacements for the broken unit and another one on the same side of the roof. Their technicians arrived on time, were efficient, did good work, and cleaned up after themselves. It was a good experience and I will be calling them back if I have a problem with the other two old skylights.

'Lock' from Skylight Specialists took care of my house with an attention to detail, as though it were his own house. When replacing old skylights, it's inevitable that the installers find some goofy, even troubling roof conditions. Lock could have dropped the new skylights on my roof and buttoned up his work, but instead, took the time to clean up someone else's bad install. He communicated with me what the problem was, what solutions were possible, and the time it would take to get the job done right... and on budget. Great job!

What a fabulous group of skilled people! Skylight Specialists added light to our home with two lovely skylights. It feels like paradise in our family room. But I must tell you, if you are wondering about who you should choose to do this work, you cannot go wrong with this company that specializes in skylights. I researched for a long time, and hoped I chose the right company to add skylights to our home. They surpassed my wildest expectations. First I called the company and a smiling voice was on the other end of the phone. I look for that in a company. Lindsey answered the phone and was so personable. She set up a visit for me to meet with Stan Davies to come out to work up an estimate. He answered all our questions and was so nice. Next I set up the scheduled time for the install. I spoke with Joe Walters and once again, a smile on the other end of the phone! Joe was awesome and set me up for the install with Lock Davis and he would be there also. They both came on time. Lock walked in, smiled and introduced himself and Joe, he said they wanted to place the skylights wherever we would like them, and that they wanted us to be happy. What? Yes he truly wanted us to be happy! Joe was just wonderful too, smiling and we felt we knew those men in a short amount of time. Skilled, hard working and kind men they are. We decided to have the skylights focused over our couch. No lamps needed in the day at all to read, it's just grand! The light wafted over the entire room. No words to express how happy we are. Every step of the way Lock and Joe answered our questions. And they both were so kind to also help us in our thoughts on where we wanted the skylights placed. At this point I was truly in shock at all the incredible customer service, as my husband was too. They were so careful to not make a mess on our flooring. Tidy and neat they are! They installed two gorgeous skylights in our home, cleaned up afterward and again asked if there was anything more they could do for us. They were just incredible! Next Clayton Hunt arrived to do the texturing on the drywall to match our ceiling. Goodness, another smiling and kind man! He finished the job and was just so nice. I have never witnessed in my 65 years this kind of service. So I guess this review was lengthy, but the people at Skylights specialists are tops and deserved this review. After the job was done I also received a beautiful letter from Josh Hannon. Thanking me. Great job installing skylight, but when the original person came out to quote the job, I was told there would be no drywall work needed based on my roof line - that the trim package was all that was needed, and it was covered in the bid. I was happy about that because the drywall work cost extra. When the installers came out, the trusses were scissor trusses, which required drywall work. I was not happy because this was not the way the job was sold to me. And, I thought under the circumstances, they should have eaten the cost of the drywall. They pushed back initially saying they would not pick up the cost of the drywall, to which I became very upset, and then did in the end agree to cover the drywall cost. In my opinion, not only should they have agreed to cover it from the get-go, but there should have been a call of apology to me for messing up on the original quote and not figuring out my roof line right - after all that is their business. The 4 stars are for Lock and his crew, who did a very good job installing the skylights.

UPDATE: Skylight Specialists recently took care of a few warranty repairs quickly and thoroughly. I could not be more pleased with the service we've gotten from this company. Outstanding customer service! Skylight Specialists was great to work with! We worked with friendly, helpful people from estimate to installation and we are very happy with the final results! It's a pretty messy job because we have an attic full of loose insulation but the installers took every precaution to protect our floors and walls. I was also pleasantly surprised with our final invoice which was a LOT lower than the estimate - love it when that happens!!

The skylight specialists did an incredible and thorough job fixing my skylights. Garrett arrived at my home on time, took his time re-assessing the issues, and then went to work. When he finished the repairs, he even cleaned the floor under the skylights! After his repairs were completed, we had an issue with one skylight not closing correctly and Garrett quickly responded via text for how we could fix the problem ourselves even though he offered to come out and fix it first. I recommend this great company to anyone looking to install new skylights or fix old ones.

I had Skylight Specialist remove an old,large bubble skylight and replace it with two new VeLux autoclose windows. The quote was accurate.The install was quick and the clean up was very good. We had very little disruption in our day to day activity. The finish work was very good.I found the personnel friendly and helpful. For the past couple of years I have had water leaking down the interior of my front door whenever it would rain gently for a few days in a row. I have a skylight in the entry area, so I was suspicious it might be the cause of the leak. I searched for a skylight company and found Skylight Specialists, based on their A+ rating and positive reviews. When I contacted them, a specialist came out promptly and evaluated the situation. He confirmed that the problem was coming from my outdated skylight; along with a poor installation at the time my home was built. Furthermore, he found that another skylight had been cracked by hail and was leaking, unbeknownst to me. Skylight Specialists gave me a quote for new Velux skylights to replace my damaged old ones and installed them correctly so that they would last a very long time without leaking. I now have beautiful energy efficient skylights and my leaking problem has been remedied. This company certainly knows its product and how to install properly without cutting corners. I had an existing skylight broken by hail, and contracted Skylight Specialists to replace it. Although the replacement skylight was supposed to be delivered in three weeks, the manufacturer (not Skylight Specialists) took five weeks. Other than the delay, Skylight Specialists did an excellent job of installation. They called before sending out the install crew, and they were friendly and did the job quickly. I would recommend this company.....but be aware that if you require a custom skylight to be manufactured by another company, Skylight Specialists are only estimating when the parts will be available.

They were very efficient, obviously following a procedure plan and made sure to protect our floors and furniture. These guys did great work on our house! I work in construction, and I was wary of having just anyone cut into my roof and framing, which is why I went with Skylight Specialists. They are a certified Velux installer, and they work together with certified drywall company to provide full-service installation and repair. Our install was a little more complicated because we wanted a big skylight with a skylight well in our kitchen. It required some additional framing and moving of electrical, but the installers were professional and accommodating at every step. They put down and removed site protection every single day they were on site, and made sure to leave the space in usable condition at the end of each day. Our attic access is really small, but they never complained about having to crawl through the tight space. We got some minor pushback about filing a building permit with the city, but in the end, they handled the submittal and inspections for an additional fee as we discussed. In the end, it turned out even better than I imagined, and we are now considering adding a second skylight in our entry, as well as several Sun Tunnels throughout the house. The complete installation took 2 days, with final drywall texturing and finishing happening a couple weeks after. Every time I stand in my kitchen, it makes me happy.

I can't thank Josh and the people at Skylight Specialists enough!! My partner and I work on the frontlines and in the beginning of the pandemic, we were selected for a Sun Tunnel giveaway. As an NP, I was working 12-15 hours a day and as the cases of SARS-CoV-2 continued on, my partner was equally exhausted in her work as a therapist. We rarely saw the light of day during this time. Josh Hannon was incredibly patient and worked with us amid the chaos and our ever-changing hours for installation. The installer, Paul was incredible and the Sun Tunnel is just perfect, brightening up our once-dark farmhouse dining room! This was even more appreciated after I contracted the virus and ended up in the hospital, then quarantine and prolonged recovery, requiring oxygen at home. The added brightness helped as we had to put our beloved Goldendoodle down and the ray of light highlighted the many wonderful flowers we received from loved ones. It's been a difficult year and the muddy recovery from this virus is unrelenting, but I will be forever grateful for this gift of light- especially as we are now working from home as we can and the dining room is now my partner's office.
