The team has installed a Velux skylight in our studio, and went way above and beyond. They didn't just do the skylight (which looks really cool :)), but removed the old ceiling fan, installed a new one in a new location and were super-flexible with the timeline: a piece of new ceiling fan got delayed and didn't arrive on time, so they had to come a second time weeks later to accommodate for the delay! Big thanks to Manny, Joey and Luis!

We had such an incredible experience working with Skylight Pros. Their team was thorough, punctual, and fair. They were on time and cleaned up the job site every day. We are OBSESSED with our new skylights and would recommend Skylight Pros to anyone and everyone! What a joy to work with!

After researching skylight companies and seeing the same complaints about competitors—poor communication, delays, and subpar workmanship—I was hesitant, but Andres and his team at Skylight Pros completely exceeded expectations. Their team was responsive, professional, and transparent from start to finish, showing up on time and delivering clean, high-quality work without cutting corners. The installation was seamless, and you can tell they take real pride in their craftsmanship. Just as important, their customer service was consistent throughout the entire process, making sure everything was done right. If you’re concerned after reading negative reviews about other companies, Skylight Pros is the clear choice—they truly deliver on both quality and service.

Luis and Joey went out of their way to address my skylight problem and fixed it in the same day.

They brought our vision to life and we couldn’t be happier about it! Our living room lacked natural light given where it’s located in the house and how the sun passes over. Skylight Pros was recommended to us and responded really quickly to our inquiry. They came to our house the next day, provided multiple options to bring more natural light into the room and showed us plenty of examples to get an idea of what it could look like. They even let us connect with another one of their customers to hear about their experience and go see their work. Their crew was professional, respectful of the home and cleaned up the space at the end of each day so it didn’t interfere with our home life at night. The final product is absolutely stunning and we get non-stop compliments about it from our guests. I wish I could give them higher than 5 stars, they absolutely deserve it.

If you're on the fence about getting a skylight, let me save you the deliberation — just call Skylight Pros and ask for Carlton. I recently had them install a Velux skylight and the entire experience was as smooth as home improvement projects get. It started with Carlton coming out to assess the project and put together a quote. He was knowledgeable, no-pressure, and the pricing was fair and transparent — no sticker shock, no hidden surprises. Scheduling the install was just as easy. The whole process from that first visit to a finished skylight in my ceiling was remarkably hassle-free. But the real highlight? The crew. These guys were genuinely fun to work with — cool, personable, and clearly passionate about what they do. They took the time to explain every step of the installation, which I really appreciated. You could tell they took pride in their work, and the finished result absolutely shows it. As for the product itself, the Velux skylight is fantastic. The quality is immediately obvious, and it cooled down our room significantly when vented. We love it. If you're looking for a company that checks every box — fair pricing, quality products, seamless process, and a great crew — Skylight Pros is the one. Highly recommend!

The whole team is great! From Carlton, to install team of Joey/Luis/Manny, they were all very friendly, professional, and did a great job. Very pleased with the result and would highly recommend them to anyone looking to install skylights. Solid pricing as well.

I had a great experience working with Skylight Pros and recommend them to anyone that needs to replace skylights. Carlton is super informative and an excellent communicator. The team delivered on their promise to finish in one day, even with encountering some additional water damage during the skylight replacement. The field staff is courteous and clean. Last but not least, their pricing is competitive.

Completely satisfied. Carlton and Andres came out the same day we called to assess and provide an estimate. Their online catalog was a bit unintuitive but Andres was able to answer all my questions. The crew that came out was professional and courteous and left no mess. Our sitting room was given new life with an improvement that was better than we were expecting. Highly recommended.

I called Carlton at Skylight Pros when I recently needed some skylights urgently. He and Andres sorted out my problem immediately! Great work guys! Highly recommend them Ashwini

I recently had four skylights installed at my house and was very happy with the service and the product. I was referred to skylight pros by my friend as I always loved the lighting in his home. Now I love the lighting in my home.

I have had a very positive experience working with skylight pros. When Mannie and Carlton originally came over to check out my home I had a particular idea for skylights. However they were able to suggest a design that is far superior and allowed the structure of the roof to stay the same. Later during installation, Luis, Joey, and the others were great to work with. They were professional, courteous, and all around good company even with the temperatures in the 90s! They took their time programming the skylights at the end and consistently more thoughtful about all of their work the whole way through. This is a great company who has a strong connection to the market leader Velux. So if you are consider considering skylight definitely reach out to these guys. In addition to the four master bedroom skylights I also had a replacement skylight in the master bath which now is the type that opens and closes automatically. This was a huge upgrade over what was existing and I chose it on their suggestion which I much appreciated. Skylights Pros has a close connection with market leader Velux and were able to get some good discounts on some of the skylights. That was a helpful bonus!

Skylight Pros were fantastic to work with. I had been searching for a specialty product that everyone else told me did not exist. When I called Skylight Pros, they had exactly what I needed and had it ready for pickup within 15 minutes. The entire process was quick, easy, and hassle free. Their customer service was outstanding and this turned out to be one of the best experiences I have had with any company.

By far the best Skylight company in town. They were fast, responsive, very professional, and made the whole process feel smooth and easy. Great service and product. 10/10 would recommend to anyone looking for a nice upgrade for their home!

I love my new skylight! I had to replace an old cracked plastic bubble type skylight and Skylight Pros made the job so easy! Everyone I had contact with from Maria to Carlton and even the installer Dan were extremely courteous and helpful. I highly recommend Skylight pros!

Quick easy and no hassle. Skylghts look great.

We were so amazed with the results when Skylight Pros installed a Sun Tunnel in the mstr. bathroom. It filtered in perfect amount of light in the room without having to turn on the bathroom light. We were so pleased, we had Skylight Pros install another Sun Tunnel in the kitchen. Conserving electricity and using natural light!!

Great experience from beginning to end. Kyle, Carlton, Maria in the office and the installers in the field (sorry guys forgot your names!) were great. Came out, quick quote, quick scheduling, quick repair. Would highly recommend for skylight replacement needs!

Great experience working with Skylight Pros! We love our new skylight and the process was easy and more affordable than I thought it would be.

Very professional. I had full confidence in their work. I am happy with everything about this company.

I highly recommend this company. They were very punctual with the quote, payment follow-up, and especially the installation. Everything was very clear and of excellent quality.

It's hard to overstate how great this team was in repairing a cracked skylight dome, and putting in a new ventilating skylight. Carlton and his team were highly skilled, friendly, and cost-effective. I will definitely be calling them in the future for any skylight repairs or new installations. I can't recommend them highly enough.

Love our new two new skylights and solar tube. The team at Skylight Pros did a great job. They came when scheduled, minimized the mess, and the skylights look great. As we just installed them in May, we haven't gone through a rainy season yet but I'm sure they will take care of any issues if they arise. Had a bit of communication issue at the end after the install but they came through with their commitments. Be aware that drywall is included but only rough mudding. If you have exposed trusses like we do, it takes quite a bit of work to get everything looking good. So either budget time for yourself or budget money for a painter. Some before and after pics below.

Carlton was amazing. He helped us pick what he thought we wanted based on our needs and he was 100% accurate. The team that came out and did the install worked with our Schedule and completed the install quickly quietly and perfectly. Will for ever recommend this company for their prices and quality of work. 10 out of 10!

I'm usually a little reluctant to write an immediate review as any potential issues haven't popped up yet, but in this case I am confident that if there are any issues they will be taken care of promptly and properly. Chris and Joey came out this morning to install two Sun Tunnels in our kitchen. There were a few issues that they had to work around to make them fit but they installed them exactly where we asked them to and they look great. I am very pleased with our choice of Skylight Pros for doing our installation.

They provided the Velux product and service exactly as needed. The skylight looks great and they matched my roof shingles perfectly.

My skylights were very old and needed replacing. Kevin did a great job and before the scheduled date. I love the new look and being able to open to vent out the room! I wasn't sure about getting the blind but did and will do the same when I replace my last two.

Ken bid the job and everything was done according to the bid and schedule. Very happy with product

Kevin and his partner went above and beyond in the job of installing new Sun Tunnel skylights that replaced old ones that had been improperly installed which lead to roof damage and water leaks in the house. They replaced the rotten wood that was not part of the original job as we didnt know the severity of the roof damaged until the removed the old skylights. I would recommend Skylight Pros to anyone and everyone - they were great.

We are extremely satisfied with the work Kevin and his crew did over the last 5 days in our place installing 3 skylights. Kevin has a level of care and craft difficult to find: I can tell he loves his job because it shows through everything he does; he treats everything with the utmost care like it was his place, clean up after themselves and put as much effort as they need to make the job perfect. Kevin even cleaned our other skylights which he didn't install! On top of everything else, they are very honest people and they will not charge you more just because your house looks expensive. 100% recommend Kevin and his crew as they are super professional all around.

No More Leaks ! 👌 After many years with a leaky manually operating skylight , so thankful to have found Skylight Pros, Kevin owner is local San Diego and communicated every step of the way. Great competitive bid and knowledge about the product and solar rebates . Safety was follow every step of the way . Do yourself favor and just call Skylight Pros. Thanks again Kevin and no leaks 👍🏼

Just got my ancient skylight replaced with a brand new Velux skylight and it is awesome! These guys really know their stuff. I would highly recommend.

I highly recommend Skylight Pros, Inc. Kevin Lightcap was very knowledgeable and responsive. He provided a lot of options to replace our four old skylights. He was honest and took the time to talk about what the right value replacements would be and the benefits of each. This was all during Covid-19 and all through the process he communicated what our timing would be, which wasn't delayed at all. The only trouble we had was the roofers weren't done when he delivered the skylights but he was very flexible and came out the next week when everything was completed. His crew were awesome. Jordan was super sweet and very good at getting the job done and answering all my questions. I am so glad I picked Skylight Pros, Inc over the three other bids I got. They did a great job.

Wonderful work. Always go to Kevin for any skylight jobs.
