M&M skylights did a terrific job installing our 3 roof windows and 2 skylights that had to be replaced due to leaks. Everyone was great. But what really impressed me was that today, when Sam and Colin came back to re-install a screen that hadn't fit during the previous installation, they went above and beyond. They listened to my concern about not being able to open the window, and then, with extra time and extra care, they constructed an unplanned wood ledge to hold the screen in place. At a time when so many contractors do the bare minimum, Sam and Colin were professional, respectful, and very resourceful. They truly went above and beyond. So to the owner, if you're reading this, please give Sam and Colin a big raise! ;)

I couldn’t get anybody to fix the mess the installer made installing my Skylights. VELUX corp got theses people to come out and two techs showed up and it was running in 10 mins. M and M were life savers for the lights. Nothing by the installer but everything by M and M

M&M installed three solar tunnels for us. As of now, about two months past install, I'd give them 4.7 stars (I rounded up). I highly recommend M&M skylights to anyone looking for Sun Tunnels. I broke their review into three parts: 1) Product (5): These tunnels are exactly what we needed and exceeded our expectations. They provide even more light than we expected (we had seen two in my wife's grandparents' house in upstate PA) and look great. My only annoyances so far are the defuser is hard to clean and very delicate (scratched trying to clean off dust), the night lights are brighter than expected (used LED covering stickers to resolve this issue myself), and we're getting a lot of bugs in the tube. I expected some bugs like any other light, but the volume is crazy and a bit frustrating (this may have been a short seasonal thing - will follow up after more time). Finally, can't hit M&M for this but if VELUX sees this, you're missing a huge opportunity to offer a remote controlled dimmed/blackout shade for rare occasions you want that. This all said, the product is truly transformative to our home and I highly recommend you get one or more. 2) Customer service (5): Great experience with all parties - sales, installers, project manager, etc. They've offered to assist in troubleshooting the last two of my issues above (I haven't mentioned the first) and nothing has been pushed on me or provided not as advertised. Price was very fair so I didn't feel obligated to shop around. 3) Installation: Overall very impressed with the install team and their process. They worked efficiently to get all three installed within maybe 4-5 hours. I did not hear a single complaint about working in a blown insulation attic and they used plastic barriers and tarp walkways to minimize spread of dust/insulation, were polite and informative, made sure to clean up the working spaces, and lined up three Sun Tunnels for aesthetic benefit on the roof. The only negative on the squad was whoever was last out of the attic - the hatch insulation cover was not closed & zippered, the hatch and back hall were filled with blown insulation, and the lights were left on after closing up the pulldown door/stairs to the attic. All-in-all not the end of the world, just felt like an unfortunate miss when the rest of the cleanup was pretty thorough. Genuinely, they otherwise cleaned/prepped better than 90% of "contractors" I've had do work for us and it was really nice not listening to obscene conversations I've experienced with others. Install itself looks great.

A few years ago, my family and I were suffering with a couple of 37-year-old hand crank skylights. We had to live with buckets and towels strategically placed in the kitchen and den every time it rained. With one call to Scott at M&M Skylights, our problems were solved. In July of 2022, the M&M team installed two new solar-powered remote controlled skylights: a wonderful convenience AND no more leaks. My wife and I were thrilled with their professionalism, expertise, and politeness. When we recently learned that M&M also provides maintenance for skylights, we jumped at the chance. Our skylights had been working fine, but why not make sure they continue to do so? As soon as they had an opening in their schedule, Tim , the production manager, fit us in. The very next day, Colin and Sam showed up at our house and went right to work, inside and out, to clean, lubricate, and adjust to make sure everything was perfect. The three men who replaced my skylights were professional and friendly. They did a magnificent job and even advised me on some work that needs to be done on my roof. I wouldn't have known otherwise! Every aspect of the experience - from the initial visit to the finish was easy and pleasant.

The job looks OK and so far we haven’t had any issues with the installation. Just be aware that for a single skylight replacement and reroofing of one roof surface, they used two separate crews. On day one, the crew that replaced the skylight did excellent work — very precise and professional. On day two, a subcontractor came, stripped the roof (including around the newly installed skylight), and then reroofed. The quality of the second crew’s work wasn’t quite at the same level and stripping/reroofing AFTER skylight instalation makes no sense. I would give it 2 1/2 * due to second crews work. Month later we reroofed entire roof and replaced 4 skylights by Newton Roofing Residential and that work was 5*.

M&M did a great job replacing two skylights on my home. They were able to offer a broader range of sizes for the skylights that better fit the existing space. Other quotes would have required modifications and additional carpentry. M&M completed the work quickly and cleaned up the space well when they finished. Interacting with installers, customer service, and estimators was efficient and professional. They drove quite a ways out to complete the job and I appreciate that as well.

After 15 years of flawless functioning my VElUx skylights failed. After speaking with VELUX and going through their recommended deactivation protocol, I called M&M. Sue put me directly in touch with Scott, the owner. Recognizing my frustration, Scott drove over 50 miles to our home the following day (a Saturday, no less) and diagnosed and reactivated the skylights. At a time when it is often difficult to connect with a human for service, we found someone with real humanity - not to mention the knowledge and skill to fix our problem. I was referred to M&M skylights from the manufacturer's website Velux. From the point of referral through to the end of the job done the entire team was very communicative, professional and overall a pleasure to work with from a service perspective. They were also highly flexible and able to accommodate our need to reschedule due to the fact that we have solar panels on our roof. The solar company was difficult to work with, making scheduling more complicated than it needed to be. We had a bit of a unique case where our skylights were square and very old. (1990) We had tried other places in the past to help us repair them to no avail. They were able to find the right solution for us, and knew exactly what the old skylights were! M&M Skylights were great to work with. They provided a quick, easy to read quote and on the day of installation, everything was was organized and the installation was very quick.

It was a pleasure to work with M&M Skylights. They were very responsive when I requested an estimate and signing a contract and paying the deposit was easy via their online system. I had a little bit a of sticker shock at the cost however it's because installing skylights is very labor intensive. They had to install flashing and shingle around every window and also come inside to do the finish work. Everything looks fabulous and you'd never know looking at the roof that these were installed recently.

We had six 35 year old skylights replaced in January and nothing I can say is enough to express how delighted we were with the outcome. The crew was considerate (we had our 15 month old grandson with us) about how they brought things inside. They were professional, neat, cleaned up after themselves and the end result was beautiful skylights that were cleaned inside and out. I cannot say enough about this company or it's crew and the workmanship is magnificent. Just 6 months ago we realized the trim was loose and when I contacted Scott he sent someone down to repair it. Scott was the most responsive contractor I've worked with in ages: answers phone, emails back the same day, puts up with odd questions, etc. I was surprised when they started the exact day he said he would even though it was weeks out from signing the contract. His crew were nice, polite fellows who told you what would happen and got things done and seemed very professional, so I'm not worried about leaks. They also went out of their way to fulfill my unusual skylight finishing requests, wherein Scott dealt with the local inspector like a pro. The difference the skylights make on my top floor is AMAZING too! I now love my formerly dark space and hope to be cooler next summer. I gladly recommend to anyone wanting skylights. Which I'm not sure you can trust roofers to do, I know that from previous experience.

I spoke with 4 different companies about replacing a 20 year old leaking, ant chewed skylight. I chose M&M as they quoted a good price but just as importantly were also very responsive. They were quick to come out to take a look and give me a quote. Booking the work was easy and they did the work in 3 hours tops. It is quality work and we are pleased with the result.

Wanted more light in our dark, two-story entryway. Gave us great options and pros/cons of skylights vs. solar tubes. Ended up going with a skylight because it's a big, open space. Price was very reasonable, and was amazed at how well they were able to contain the very messy work and leave it nice and clean when done. And what a huge difference the skylight makes! This is a two part review. My first project with M&M was to replace four skylights in my house. They did a wonderful job (4.5 stars), so much so that I asked if he could do my bathroom remodel — if you need skylight replaced I highly recommend. With regard to my bathroom remodel, they committed on a start date and based on that I refinanced my house to get the funds required. I asked for a change to the original work and they were supposed to get an updated quote to me. At this point, no emails were returned anymore including my last one just asking for them to confirm they no longer planned to do the job. End result I refinanced my house and almost ordered all the items required for the remodel and M&M simply ghosted me. Not unique to this contractor but very disappointing and frustrating. Why contractors don’t have the decency to not leave customers hanging is something I will never understand.

Scott and his team were super. Scott knew exactly what was needed to replace the Velux skylights that was installed 20 years ago in our home. I called Scott and he took a look at the skylight, gave me an estimate that day. I had been looking for 2 years for a reliable and honest person. He showed up on the day scheduled and replaced the skylights in one day. When he left, everything inside was trimmed and painted. You would never know any work had been done except now we have beautiful new skylights that is operable.

We recently replaced a plexiglass skylight on our downtown Boston brownstone with a new Velux all-glass skylight provided and installed by M&M Skylights. We couldn't be happier with both the product and the professional service that we received. Our order was processed and delivered within the estimated timeframe (about six weeks). The installation team took great care in the removal of the old skylight and cleaning and preparing the sight for the new one. Although the new skylight represents a significant investment (as compared with a plexiglass solution), we are impressed with the quality of the Velux product, and are confident that we will not have to worry about replacing it for at least 15--20 years. Scott and his team were super. Scott knew exactly what was needed to replace the 5 older skylights in our home. He and his crew showed up on the day scheduled and replaced all the skylights in one day. When he left, everything inside was trimmed and painted. You would never know any work had been done except now we have beautiful new skylights that are operable.

M&M Skylights replaced 3 existing skylights with VELUX solar-operated fresh air models. Everything about the process was professional and stress free! My install took 2 days, they were right on time for both. At the end of day one I had new skylights, day two was mostly inside finish work. On the exterior, all roofing materials around the openings were able to be reused, they even tacked up a few unrelated loose roofing shingles. Landscaping was undamaged. Interior paint and trim work complete the project. All debris and dust were cleaned up prior to leaving. Inside looks fantastic! The men that did my consult and install were professional and easy to work with. They were alone at my home for part of both days without issue. This also took place at the start of social-distancing and the company is conscious of this issue. The VELUX skylights are absolutely incredible! Yes they are somewhat expensive, but if you can get past that you will not be disappointed (there is a tax credit in 2020 that helps). Both the blinds and the open-close functions are flawless and the product has a "luxury" appearance. Once you have these you will wish you got them sooner! This company knows what they are doing and will work with you to install an outstanding product in a professional manner.

M&M did a great job from start to finish. Came down to give estimate next day. Gave me a date for install based on Windows ordered and then did the job well. Many of my neighbors used them as well and they put in over 20 skylights. Not a complaint from anyone. Some got opening with shades some just got standard window. They know there windows and they were less expensive than two other companies for the exact same product. It is my pleasure to recommend them for any home improvement job.

Got two Velux skylights & a Sun Tunnel last fall - extremely happy with them. Entire process was smooth and the install/work crews are extremely professional and friendly! I did have a leak with one of my windows (manufacturer defect), but throughout M&M was super responsive, facilitated the warranty claim, and handled the replacement swap out beautifully. Would work with them again without any hesitation!

M&M installed three solar tunnels for us. As of now, about two months past install, I'd give them 4.7 stars (I rounded up). I highly recommend M&M skylights to anyone looking for Sun Tunnels. I broke their review into three parts: 1) Product (5): These tunnels are exactly what we needed and exceeded our expectations. They provide even more light than we expected (we had seen two in my wife's grandparents' house in upstate PA) and look great. My only annoyances so far are the defuser is hard to clean and very delicate (scratched trying to clean off dust), the night lights are brighter than expected (used LED covering stickers to resolve this issue myself), and we're getting a lot of bugs in the tube. I expected some bugs like any other light, but the volume is crazy and a bit frustrating (this may have been a short seasonal thing - will follow up after more time). Finally, can't hit M&M for this but if VELUX sees this, you're missing a huge opportunity to offer a remote controlled dimmed/blackout shade for rare occasions you want that. This all said, the product is truly transformative to our home and I highly recommend you get one or more. 2) Customer service (5): Great experience with all parties - sales, installers, project manager, etc. They've offered to assist in troubleshooting the last two of my issues above (I haven't mentioned the first) and nothing has been pushed on me or provided not as advertised. Price was very fair so I didn't feel obligated to shop around. 3) Installation: Overall very impressed with the install team and their process. They worked efficiently to get all three installed within maybe 4-5 hours. I did not hear a single complaint about working in a blown insulation attic and they used plastic barriers and tarp walkways to minimize spread of dust/insulation, were polite and informative, made sure to clean up the working spaces, and lined up three Sun Tunnels for aesthetic benefit on the roof. The only negative on the squad was whoever was last out of the attic - the hatch insulation cover was not closed & zippered, the hatch and back hall were filled with blown insulation, and the lights were left on after closing up the pulldown door/stairs to the attic. All-in-all not the end of the world, just felt like an unfortunate miss when the rest of the cleanup was pretty thorough. Genuinely, they otherwise cleaned/prepped better than 90% of "contractors" I've had do work for us and it was really nice not listening to obscene conversations I've experienced with others. Install itself looks great.

I have nothing but positive things to say about M&M Skylights. They were incredibly responsive and within 2-3 days we had someone out to inspect the area, give us a quote and get booked. They also gave us a call and were able to get our installation moved up by 2 weeks. The installation crew was also great and interacted with our kids and dogs during their time at the house. We went with a Sun Tunnel in our extremely dark stairway and it has made such a difference. Now we keep thinking we left the lights on during the day 😂 highly recommend this company!
