VELUX Skylight Systems carry a 10-year installation warranty, plus 20 years on glass, 10 years on product, and 5 years on shades and controls.

This limited warranty does not apply to VELUX products purchased prior to January 1, 2010.

    • We stand behind product installations with a comprehensive 10-year warranty. This covers defects in workmanship or materials related to installation. In the rare event of an issue, our team provides prompt assistance.

    • VELUX Skylight Systems feature high-quality glass built to last, backed by a 20-year warranty against seal failure. This covers defects in the glass material. With this warranty, you can trust that your skylight's glass will maintain its clarity and performance for years to come.

    • VELUX shades are designed for durability and reliability, supported by a 5-year warranty on shades and controls. This covers defects in materials or workmanship related to the shade mechanism or control system.

Warranty Coverage by Category

    • Our warranty provides coverage for leaks that occur as a result of defects in materials or workmanship. If your skylight experiences leaks during the warranty period, we will promptly assess the issue and take appropriate measures to repair or replace the affected components, ensuring your continued satisfaction and protection from water intrusion.

    • VELUX Skylight Systems are engineered to withstand extreme weather, including hail. In the rare event of hail-related damage, our warranty offers coverage on skylights with laminated glass for repairs or replacements, ensuring that your skylight remains structurally sound and continues to perform optimally.

    • Our warranty provides comprehensive coverage for manufacturing defects that may affect the performance or functionality of your skylight. Whether it's an issue with materials, construction, or design, we stand behind our products and will address concerns promptly to ensure satisfaction and peace of mind.

    • Our warranty extends to both the skylight itself and its integration with the roof structure. This includes coverage for defects or issues related to the skylight's frame, flashing, seals, and components.
