I have attic bedroom that only has one window and it was so dark that I didn’t really enjoy being up here. A friend suggested a skylight, and I am over the moon with the results from Skylights NW! The team was extremely professional, and it was clear they’ve done this a million times. The best part is that it was supposed to take 2 days but these skilled guys were done in half a day! They began working around 9 and my skylight was installed, my room vacuumed and cleaned and put back together by 1:30pm. Eric and his crew were absolutely fantastic. I had one skylight installed in the late fall. The communication from the office side/ owner was a bit scattered in the beginning. There were several times when I felt like my project was being overlooked or things were being over-booked. However, once I stated this, the owner made the changes needed to correct that feeling, and things went smooth afterward. Adding more light and a way for heat to escape an attic bedroom has been super valuable. The work that was done was excellent and very fast. The workers were pleasant, communicative, and kept things very clean. It was a pleasure to have them in my home. I definitely recommend Skylights NW, and am giving a 4 star versus a 5 star because based on the cost of materials plus the total number of hours the the workers were here, the final cost of the job seemed high.

I had called a few places about two leaking skylights, and Skylights NW was the only one to offer to try and come out within a couple days to assess the leaks or at least cover them with a tarp to prevent further water damage. I know I was lucky to fit in between other jobs, and they are standard sizes, but they were able to be replaced that day - I'm very happy with the new Velux replacements (and my now dry ceiling), and will definitely call Eric again when the rest need to be replaced.

I think I just had the best customer service experience of my life! My husband and I made the mistake of ordering skylights through Home Depot online. We received the wrong flashing kits and didn’t realize it until we already cut the holes in our roof (and yes, of course, rain is in the forecast tonight and tomorrow). We called Home Depot...they are an online order only, and they’re sold out - we couldn’t order them if we tried. We frantically called every place we could Google. After multiple calls elsewhere with no luck, we called Skylights NW. Not only did he have the correct flashing kit, Eric DROVE THEM TO OUR HOUSE AND HAND DELIVERED THEM WITHIN THE HOUR. I called Eric to see about replacing 2 old hand crank skylights and installing one new skylight. Eric came out the next day, even though it was a holiday. He got back with a price the next day and we moved ahead with the project. One of the things I appreciated while waiting for the install was the updates Eric kept providing on timing on the install. In these crazy times of COVID deliveries are all over the board and Velux definitely had some scheduling problems but nothing terrible. Once the skylights arrived Eric and Christopher did a very clean and timely installation. The work was professional and there were no issues. We went with solar operation and blinds and they are convenient and add great light and airflow to our upstairs rooms.

We just had four skylights installed with solar powered remote control blinds. These skylights are all on the west side of the house over the kitchen so the blinds are really important during the summer heat. It took Eric and Christopher almost seven hours to complete the job without a break. The installation was outstanding and the results are fantastic. Eric found an exact replacement for my 28 year old Velux skylight. I popped the old one off and slipped the new one right into the place. The sheet rock went right into the dado's perfectly. I didn't even have to paint inside. With the new flashing took me 45 minutes to install. Perfect!
