Geoffrey did a great job replacing our old skylight. The job took longer than expected due to some rot that was uncovered while removing the old skylight. Geoffrey took care of all the damage and charged a fair price for the additional work.

Had a great experience with Geoffrey and Stephen Dyer replacing two old skylights, one of which was leaking. Geoffrey covered it for the duration between inspection/bid and install, approximately ten days, which considering it was the middle of the Xmas holiday season was amazing IMHO. House already had three Velux skylights (also done by Dyer, just prior to to home purchase). Professional and personable service. Geoffrey did a great job with installation; careful, clean, and thorough. Cutting holes in your roof to let a little light in is never an ideal situation; pretty much anything will leak given enough time exposed to the rains. However, given our high latitude, notoriously cloudy climate, and (for me at least) added shadow from heavy forest cover, skylights are a better solution than sitting in gloom while inside. Good materials, workmanship, and service aren't inexpensive, unfortunately; skylights will never be a "cheap" thing to install/replace. I felt Dyer's pricing was competitive and reasonable, and their service was excellent. I'm confident my new Velux skylights will be as trouble-free as the preexisting ones; if not, the Velux warranty is good, and Dyer guarantees their workmanship for as long as you own the home. A+!

I just had a huge job done at my house: two banks of skylights (10 total, each one 2.5 feet by 6 feet, with custom aluminum frames and custom flashing). The work crew - including Mr. Dyer's son, Geoff - were polite, professional, clean, considerate, and got the job done in a timely manner (no cussing or smoking, either). Both Mr. Dyer and his son were excellent communicators and got back to me via the same modality I used (email, text, or phone). The contract was clear, thorough, and easy to read. The process from start to finish was damn near painless. Very satisfied. Job completed 6/21/18.
