I was so impressed with Your Skylight Expert. Chris came prepared with a replacement part he had reconstructed himself, as new parts are not available for my thirty-year-old skylight. It was a pleasure watching him work. I never thought my malfunctioning skylight would be fixed so quickly! If I ever need help with a skylight again, Chris will be my first call.

We had an amazing experience with skylight experts. From Chris designing our tubular skylights to the installation and clean up was one of the best companies we’ve ever dealt with. Completely worth the money and now we have natural lighting in what was our dark kitchen, laundry room and closet

Chris and his team did a wonderful job for us framing in the sky windows and adding an attic access point! They left our home better than when they arrived and took great care with carpets and doors!

We LOVE our new sky tunnels! Chris and his team are very professional and provided us with all the information we needed to decide on placement to get the most light. We only turn lights on at night. One of the best investments we have made to our house. We highly recommend My Skylight Expert!

I can’t believe how prompt everyone was in keeping appointments and doing the work. It was a wonderful experience. I would highly recommend this company

Did a great job. Thanks

Chris and his crew did an amazing job in putting 3 skylights in for me. The price was right, the job was handled perfectly.I would tell people to only go through his company..I got several bids but I went with Chris,he is the expert when installing and replacing your skylights.

Chris and the guys were absolutely fantastic! Chris came out to look at my skylights the same day I called him, and I had my proposal and was scheduled the next day! My proposal was incredibly fair and when the skylights were replaced the guys were extremely professional! This was a great experience all around:)

Chris and his team at Your Skylight Expert did an excellent job from start to finish. They were professional, knowledgeable, responsive, and took the time to answer all my questions. They kept the job site neat and clean throughout the project and followed all the proper safety precautions. The work was completed on time, and the finished skylight looks great. I highly recommend Chris and his team for any skylight installation, repair, or replacement.

Excellent job by the crew! We have been through some real rain since and they(the skylights!) have performed fantastically. We are very pleased with this move! Thanks Chris and everyone involved with the operation.

They did an amazing job with both skylights. Very efficient and great price. Very professional.

Prompt, friendly, efficient, quality products and workmanship, and cleaned up when they were done. I have them coming back for an attic ventilation system. I highly recommend YSExperts.

After dealing with two leaking skylights, I reached out to Your Skylight Expert, and they were top-notch from start to finish. The entire team was professional, communicative, and incredibly efficient throughout the process. I couldn't be happier with the results and will continue to recommend YSE to anyone in need of high-quality skylight work.

My husband and I were so pleased with Chris Holtz from Your Skylight Expert. One of our Velux skylight remotes wouldn’t work. He came over the day after we called him and found out the remote just didn’t work anymore and he not only replaced that remote but reprogrammed all 3 skylights and remotes so they now all operate properly. We really appreciated his prompt and professional service.

The guys were great. Chris, Gabe and DaVonta were fast, easy to work with, and were super flexible with scheduling. Pricing was margins below other quotes and the quality of work is fantastic.

I had a leak around my 3 skylights somewhere! I wasnt sure if it was my roof, flashing or skylights. After meeting at the home and garden show, Chris scheduled to come and check out my velux skylights. I was delighted that Chris found an installation problem within 15 minutes, and he repaired the issue quickly!! I would highly recommend your skylight expert!!

Your Skylight Expert is a great company that is definitely experts in their field. Our skylight was in need of an upgrade as it would leak on occassion whenever it snowed or we had lots of rain. Gabe and Dakota are great technicians. They were very respectful of our home and cleaned up everything to the original state. I would highly recommend this company. They do not disappoint!

I would highly recommend Your Skylight Expert! We had an old skylight that was leaking and needed to be replaced. Chris, one of the owners, responded to my inquiry quickly and came out to provide a quote. He was thorough in explaining the process of replacing it and honest in his assessment of both our skylights. We didn’t feel like he was ever trying to upsell us, which is rare with salespeople. When we were ready to replace the skylight, we contacted Chris, and his team was out the next week to complete the job. The installers were efficient and cleaned up well after themselves. After the job, Chris followed up to thank us for the business. While we may have been able to find a less expensive quote, I believe Your Skylight Expert is the best in the business and their knowledge is unmatched. We are confident the skylight was properly installed and we won’t have to worry about issues such as leaking. We will definitely be utilizing them again when the time comes to replace our other skylight.

Is there a 5+ rating or higher? Cameran, Gabe, and Dakota are my new best friends! Their work in removing the old and installing my new bedroom skylight was above and beyond efficient. Cameran's interior drywall repair perfectly matched the surrounding ceiling. The entire process took less time than I anticipated and the final cleanup could not have been more meticulous. Thank you, thank you, thank you ... Catherine Cooper

I can’t say enough good things about this company and our experience replacing our two skylights. It was quick and not messy at all which is what I was dreading. The majority of the work is done outside. I highly recommend this company for all your skylight needs.

Chris arrived on time, was professional and the end result was fabulous. I highly recommend Chris and The Skylight Expert!

Chris, Gabe, Dakota, and Cameron did an excellent job installing 2 Skylights and a Sun Tunnel for us while our roof was being replaced! They took the necessary steps to keep the drywall dust to a minimum and kept the work area clean over the few days they were working. They were safe on the roof using fall arrestors and harnesses to stay secure. Clean, polite, and knowledgeable, would definitely recommend them. The pricing was fair and I have no complaints.

Velux Skylight Specialists are top notch!! Chris got back with me the same night that I inquired and within a couple of days Gabe came out to give us our estimate and the next week they were installed!! We even asked them to come back to show us some additional filters and he came back within a couple of days. They are fast, efficient, and friendly!! I can't say enough about them as a team! And we LOVE our sun tubes!!! They added beautiful sunlight to our dark hallway and bathroom! We recommend 1000%!!

Replaced our first generation velux with new velux. They look awesome. Great job on install. Would recommend this company. Good time to do it if your looking to get in on the tax credits.

Workman ship very good, comucation skills may need a little help, but very pleased with the job.

We had “Your Skylight Expert“ install two Velux skylights and an attic fan in September 2025. The skylights were to replace existing 30 year-old Velux skylights. I was very pleased with every aspect of my experience. We found them having a show room to be very helpful. Chris, the owner, was there and did a great job of walking us through selecting and purchasing their products. Chris was also very accessible through the installation process and later as well. He later followed up to make sure we were very pleased with everything. The install team consisted of three people: Cam, Dakota, and the lead man Gabe. They were professional from beginning to end and were a pleasure to deal with. Everyone knew their job and performed it well. Each man was hard-working, courteous and friendly. Gabe took time to answer all my questions completely and thoroughly. Later, he even took the time to help walk me through the process setting up the apps so everything could be easily controlled from my phone. We are very pleased with our new skylights and attic fan and we highly recommend “Your Skylight Expert”

Great experience overall, from sales to install. Everyone was courteous and professional. The product, workmanship and installers are/were all above average. My husband and I fully recommend Your Skylight Expert! Thank you!

The installers were experts and did a great job.

We had 3 aging skylights replaced. The entire process was quick, affordable and very professional. Chris is very experienced and knowledgeable about Velux products and provided a thorough quote during his initial inspection visit. His team did an awesome job of installation & cleanup. We are completely satisfied with our new skylights and the entire "Your Skylight Expert" team.

Very professional from start to finish. Answered all questions in a timely manner. Also finished project in expected timeline. Highly recommend.

Great product and people. Responsive and very efficient. Thumbs up.

The workers were knowledgeable about my gable fan and installed the fan quickly. They assisted me with the app for my phone and took time to explain the product.

Your Skylight Expert did a wonderful job cleaning and inspecting our skylights. Kudos!

My wife and I recently needed to replace our attic roof vent fans and decided to upgrade to QuietCool AFR SMT ES 2.0 smart fans. After researching authorized dealers, we contacted Your Skylight Expert and couldn’t be happier with the experience. Chris responded promptly, answered all our questions thoroughly, and even started our order over the phone. Best of all, he was able to schedule the installation for the following week. Cameran and Dakota arrived right on time, were courteous and professional, and did an outstanding job with the installation. They walked us through the Bluetooth setup in the app for the smart fans and made sure everything was cleaned up before they left. Their attention to detail and customer focus really stood out. Chris followed up the next business day to confirm everything was completed to our satisfaction before finalizing payment — a great touch that shows how much they care about their customers. We highly recommend Your Skylight Expert for anyone looking for quality products and top-notch service!

Exceptional and timely service. The fan performs flawlessly, and the crew was incredibly courteous. Highly recommended!

The entire experience was exceptional from start to finish. From the initial contact to the survey & estimate for the scope of work to the day of work. Chris took the time to explore & explain the best options, products & applications. Cameron and Dakota worked hard to work around some electrical and structural issues in my older home & kept me informed during the entire installation. They were both professional and polite. Commitments made and kept and on time. They are more of an exception than the standard in today’s sales & service industry.

I had a skylight that had the glass shattered. I called and talked to Chris, and he was able to come by that day to see what could be done. He determined he would be able to replace just the glass instead of a whole new skylight which saved me money. He was able to have it fixed within 2 weeks. Your Skylight Expert provided great service I would highly recommend them. I will definitely use them again if the need arises.

This is a great company to work with. The whole process, from site visit, explanation of product offerings, to installation. Chris was very thorough and knowledgeable of his products. This was the quickest process I have ever had without a hitch. If you are looking at skylights for your home, this is the company you want!

On time and did a good job. Crew was conscientious and friendly. I would highly recommend.

Chris was knowledgeable, friendly, and very helpful in finding our replacement skylights. The installation was smooth and we are enjoying our new skylights. Thanks to Chris and his team!

Green products and excellent service. Highly recommend them.

We absolutely love our sky tubes. They were a great company to work with. They were prompt they were thorough they were neat. We couldn’t be happier. I would highly recommend Chris and his crew.

Very professional and kind. They did a great job, we love our new skylights.

Chris and his crew installed a new whole house fan and attic fan last fall. I had been wanting to replace the old one in my house and had a difficult time finding someone who could recommend and install one (lots of electricians install them but you have to purchase one first and I had no idea what I needed). Chris gave me an estimate and installation was completed within 2 weeks. This has to be the #1 best improvement I've made to my house! I immediately noticed a difference in the smell and feel of the air inside my home. The best part is turning on the whole house fan in the evenings/nights when it's cooler outside. The air flow is spectacular! My electric bill has also decreased since I don't need to turn on the air as often. Overall, I'm extremely happy with the recommendations and service I received. My ceiling where the old fan was had to be patched because the new fan is much smaller. By the time the crew left, there wasn't a spec of dust on the floor. And BONUS, they came on trash day and actually brought my garbage cans in for me. Your Skylight Expert goes above and beyond, and I'm thrilled with it all! Sorry it took so long to write this review :-).

We had a Quiet Cool installed and Chris & his team were amazing! The response was quick and Cameron & Brandon did an excellent job installing our unit. We couldn't be happier with their service & highly recommend anyone to use Your Skylight Expert. Top notch company!

Chris’s crew did a great job on the install. Communication with Chris was excellent! Job was completed as scheduled and looks great.

We have worked with Chris and his crew twice for solar tube installation, most recently having them put 6 solar tubes in our new (to us) house. He really understands this industry and immediately locked on to what we wanted. It included some fabrication work on his part in order to provide us the same light-effect lenses we had with the tubes at our old house. Cameron led the installation team and they were great. Personable, professional, and they took the time to make sure everything was perfect. They also did a fantastic job of cleaning up the work area after they were finished. I very enthusiastically recommend the Skylight Experts!

We wanted a large 22" solar tube and apparently this is mostly used for businesses. We had some trouble finding someone qualified and were pleasantly suprised by YSE. They ordered the piece specifically for our job and came out within a few weeks to install. It may have been sooner if the weather had been better. Pricing was fair and competitive. Any concerns or questions were addressed by Chris ASAP. Definitely would reccomend.

These guys were very nice and professional did an excellent job in their cleanup. Love that.

Team did a great job with the install of 2 attic fans - very professional!

Great job by the team. The skylights make a huge difference.

Working with Chris Holtz and the installation Technicians of Your Skylight Expert was a great experience from start to finish. Everyone I encountered was very professional, courteous, pleasant and knowledgeable. Highly recommend this company.

Love how efficient and nice the worker's were, the skylights look wonderful and no more insects can get in. Wonderful company.

We LOVE our new skylights and working with Your Skylight Experts. Our entire experience working with Chris Holtz and his crew was first class. Knowledgeable, prompt, thorough, informative, professional, polite and patient with all my questions and changes of mind!!! We particularly love that our skylights are solar powered and SO easy to open using the remote. And the rain sensor that closes the skylights automatically if it rains while they are open. We highly recommend the team at Your Skylight Experts.

I purchased an attic fan & whole house fan. The crew scheduled a time and called prior to arrival. They were very helpful in answering any questions. They were very careful and meticulous with their work. The installation looks great! My house has stayed cool even with the excessive heat we have experienced. The whole house fan moves a tremendous amount of air. My house stays cool and my air conditioner doesn’t work as hard to keep up. We should have done this years ago. You should not wait I highly recommend this system and the entire crew at Your Skylight Expert.

They were on time. Did a great work. Cleaned up after installation. Great product, I would highly recommend them.

I can’t say enough about the professionalism, efficiency and courtesy that was shown replacing my old skylights, installing a solar tube and putting in a solar attic fan. They were very easy to communicate with and did great work. Would hire them again in a heartbeat.

I have been wanting to get a Sun Tunnel in my kitchen for years and kept putting it off. When I saw my neighbors getting one installed and how much they liked it, I went with their installer and just had it installed today. I love it!!! It's so refreshing to go into a well-lit room without having to turn the lights on. Gabe and Cameron were very professional and kept the area they were working in clean. I'm looking forward to seeing the solar electric nightlight at work tonight and the savings I'll get later at tax time.

Had a whole house fan installed. Product wasn't running as efficiently and effectively after install due to insufficient ventilation. I really appreciated Chris recognizing the issue and making it right. I can count on one hand how many contractors I have worked with in my lifetime who took the extra steps Chris took to ensure we were happy with the result. So far so good since the correction, true test will be when we get hotter, humid Cincinnati weather later in the Spring/Summer. Product aside, I would buy from Chris again just based on the exceptional service.

Gabe and Cameron were great to work with, would highly recommend them and Solar Tube products. This was the fifth product we have installed in our home.

We love our new whole house fan. Installation was quick, easy and done professionally. Looking forward to the advantages of better cooling and ventilation during the hot months in our home. Well done Your Skylight Expert.

Your Skylight Expert recently installed two electric bathroom fans/lights and a solar-powered attic fan for us and we couldn't be happier with the products or the installation process. We had originally wanted solar-based lights for the bathrooms, but when Chris came to the house to assess our needs and answer our questions, explained that those lights wouldn't work with the design of our house. We appreciated that he was upfront about that and didn't try to sell us a product that wasn't optimal for our house yet was still able to provide us with a product that did what we wanted it to do. Installation by Gabe and Cameron followed a few days later. All the guys were great to work with, respectful to us and to our property. Gabe and Cameron did a good job of cleaning up as they worked and before they left so we weren't left with any messes to clean up. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend them based on our experience.

Chris is the absolute best! I found him when I was looking for a Solatube supplier in my area and have ended up using him for several different projects around my house. He’s honest, reliable and overall great to work with. The products he’s provided us with have always been top notch quality and his prices have been very reasonable. Speaking of Solatube specifically, we have loved our attic and garage fans that he installed. It has made SUCH a difference in the efficiency of our HVAC and the temperature in our home. ((Our dog likes him too))

Excellent service!!! Chris and his crew were very professional and did a great job in updating our Solatubes with new solar powered daylight dimmers and added new tier drop ceiling fixtures. Thank you so much for all the work you did. We love the new look.

The professionalism and knowledge of the owner and installers were unmatched. They were on time and cleaned up afterwards...I couldn't be happier with their service!!

We had the tubes installed in a hallway and a bathroom. It is a very efficient way to add some natural light where needed. Instillation went very smoothly while clean up was complete. We could not be happier with the process of getting them installed from purchase to finish.

Looks great - Love the extra light Thanks very much

The team was a pleasure to work with and they did a great job!

Fantastic product, on time, fast and professional installation and clean up after installation. I strongly recommend both the solar tube and the installer.

Gave and Chris were great to work with! Install was completed on time and clean up was excellent. We are very pleased!

Last week Chris and Gabe installed 4 Solatubes in our living room and kitchen area and a ceiling fan in our hot garage. From the first time they came out to evaluate our needs and provide a reasonable quote, to the installation process, everything was done professionally and as promised. The work was completed in one day and Chris and Gabe were conscious of leaving our home clean when finished. We like the extra natural light that our new Solatube's provide in areas of our home that were always darker than we wanted. We have not had to use the garage fan yet because the weather cooled down, but we're confident it will provide good relief for the summer months next year. We recommend you call Your Skylight Expert team for your natural lighting and air circulation needs.

Your Skylight Expert / Solatube We recently had Your Skylight Experts install two 14" Solatubes with Dampers and Lightkits. At the start of the process, a father and son team, Chris and Chris Holtz, came out to look at our great room. We have soaring vaulted ceilings and limited natural light. Chris Senior suggested we have them remove the can light above our basement steps and replace it with a Solatube. They then installed a second Solatube in line with the first to bring more light into the space. They set up a ladder and walkboard above our stairwell on install day. They talked with us in detail about placement and used a laser to precisely. The peak of our ceiling doesn't line up with the peak of our roof. They masterfully installed the collectors on the backside of our room and used elbows to connect them to the lenses in the ceiling. The light the Solatubes brought into our home is fabulous. Chris and his helper Gabe cleaned up everything like they never were here. Your Skylight Experts is family-owned, and they care. We had a small issue with a light kit in one of the Solatubes. Chris texted back and forth with me when I discovered an issue and came the next day and took care of it. Call Your Skylight Experts if you have a space in your home that could use some natural light. You won't be disappointed.

My new Skylights (Solatube's) are fabulous! Just installed today and they are well worth the wait. I've always wanted natural light in my main bath! The contractors or skylight contractors were on time and got right to work. They were very professional and after of few hours everything was installed and working as designed. My Solatube's have the fan option, so I finally have low noise fans that exhaust out of the roof in both bathrooms. I can't be more pleased. The pictures were taken while it was raining outside! Lots of light still coming through.

An excellent experience from start to finish. Chris and his team were a real pleasure to work with. We highly recommend them!
