The VELUX Manual “Fresh Air” Skylight opens easily for maximum daylight and fresh air. Available in curb-mounted installations, they are operated with a smooth turning handle for in-reach applications or a control rod for out-of-reach applications. The Manual “Fresh Air” Skylight helps contribute to a home’s overall comfort level and is installed with an operator hook and insect screen. This skylight also features a pre-finished interior wood frame and aluminum or copper exterior finish.

In fact, it's much smoother than ordinary glass so water disperses evenly (sheets off), and evaporates quickly, greatly reducing water spotting. Reduce unwanted outside noise by up to 25% less than a standard double pane glass, and up to 50% less than a plastic skylight.
