A manual blind cannot be converted into an electric blind. The manual blind would have to be removed and replaced with an electric blind and an electric power supply.

For venting skylights and accessories installed out-of-reach, a ZCT 300 rod can be used. The rod and a ZAZ 090 cord pulley are required for a roller shade that is installed out-of-reach. For skylights installed within reach, a CHS/CHL handle can be used. Shades or blinds installed within reach are operated either by pulling a cord or turning a hook by hand or with a control rod.

Manual venting skylights can be changed to operate electrically by adding a KEM 140 motor  to each skylight in conjunction with a WLC 160 power supply and a WLI 160 keypad. Each WLC 160 power supply can operate up to 3 KEM 140 motors. A WLR 160 infrared remote control can also be added.
