The design of this new home included a very expansive glass area in the family room, which is next to the breakfast nook where the skylights are located. The architect felt that a good balance of light could be achieved by the use of multiple skylights in the breakfast room. The skylights also compliment the French Doors in the rear of the house and are spaced evenly above the door unit and also below the vertical windows in the second story bedroom area.
