This project was a renovation of an existing sunroom/entry hall. The existing roof structure was constructed entirely of glass and metal framing, which caused the homeowner to complain of excessive heat gain, condensation, and leaks for the aged system. The main objective of the renovation was not only to make the room more efficient but to make it more architecturally appealing.

The contractor decided to use twenty-two FS 112 skylights since that long narrow size fit the room well. The Comfort Glass and electric Venetian Blinds from VELUX offered a very affordable solution to the design challenge and helped make the project appealing from an architectural standpoint.

Here you are looking up at the skylights through the aesthetic grids.
