The Sherwood Forest Assisted Living facility in Baton Rouge, Louisiana is a state-of-the-art creation.
Designers had three main goals in mind –
- Create a home away from home atmosphere
- Create a building conducive to resident interaction and a welcoming atmosphere
- Provide quality natural lighting throughout the building.
These goals have clearly been achieved. The interior is remarkably cozy and inviting, but functional. VELUX® skylights provide a tremendous amount of daylight in the corridors and in some of the assembly areas. Naturally, residents gather and interact in areas with the most daylighting.
