Our fundamental reason for existence beyond making money is our dedication to be a Model Company. KR formulated this statement in 1965.
"Moenstervirkomhed" was the original word in Danish for Model Company. "-virksomhed" means a number of activities carried out by a group of people to fulfill a common purpose. By "Moenster-" or Model we mean a standard for comparison or imitation by others. It also means that:
- We supply products which provide daylight and ventilation to buildings for the well-being of people. These products must be high of quality and reasonably priced.
- We carry out our activities with the greatest possible respect for the environment and with greatest care for natural resources.
- We are here for our customers – also tomorrow.
- We work fairly and professionally with our suppliers with the aim of developing an ongoing relationship.
- We try to reward good performance from our employees and both the employee and the company should see the balance between contribution and reward as fair.
- We will ensure the company’s profitability in order to finance further independent development and growth in future.
