The QVE electric venting skylight, designed for self-flashed installations, is the perfect daylighting solution for overhead applications. It brings in abundant natural light and with the touch of a button, opens to let in fresh air. And if you happen to forget to close it, the QVE closes automatically in case of rain.

The QVE skylight comes with a pre-installed concealed motor, control system, and two rain sensors that automatically close your skylight during inclement weather.
The QVE skylight opens and closes quickly and quietly from anywhere in the room using a standard slimline remote control (included). The WLI 160 wall mounted keypad and the WLF 111 interface to home automation systems are also available. The QVE skylight comes with your choice of:
- Comfortplus glass - Tempered safety glass with extra laminated pane for added safety and comfort
- Comfort glass - Tempered safety glass
- Impact glass - No longer available in impact glass
The QVE skylight meets ENERGY STAR approval guidelines for energy efficiency in all climatic regions of the US. The QVE skylight comes pre-wired for one interior blind and one exterior awning. The QVE skylight is compatible with our complete line of electric sunscreening accessories including:
The QVE skylight includes a factory-installed patented flashing system, designed for shingle roofs only. Flexible EPDM side flashing eliminates the need for mastics or sealants.
The QVE skylight installs on roofs with slopes between 15° (3:12) and 60° (20:12).
The QVE skylight installs right out of the box using a single 14 gauge hard wire that connects into a standard junction box unlike other motorized skylights. 20 feet of wire is included. Pre-installed mounting brackets also improve installation time and quality.
The QVE skylight comes with a select wood frame and sash, insect screen (pre-installed), a stainless steel chain operator and aluminum or copper cladding.
The QVE skylight comes in a variety of sizes that work with rafter or truss roofs, so that you can select the one that is right for your project.
